Hey, I know the Victoria scene pretty well, does anyone have any advice on how Vancouver differs from Victoria?

I understand there's a lot more places to go in Vancouver, are prices/offerings different? Are expectations any different?

It’s quite the opposite for me, know Vancouver pretty well ( I think) perhaps we can chat more over DMs. I’d be visiting Victoria pretty soon and would love to know the gems in the area.

It felt like Victoria had more à la cart pricing for independent providers. Might have just been my experience though over there 🤷‍♂️

I get over to the island once or twice a year and have enjoyed your offerings over there from Victoria to Nanaimo.

In my experience the prices in Vancouver are about the same for massage, AMPs and agencies, give or take. Indies tend to be 25%+ more.

Of course there is a lot more choice here; and the commensurate increase in number of scammers.

There are a much higher percentage of Asian providers in Vancouver and AMP shops.

I have found in general the providers I have been with on the island tend to be a lot more chill and laid back than in Vancouver, which for me makes for a better experience. You’re much more likely to get bait and switched or a sub-par experience in Vancouver than in Victoria.

That being said you can find a lot of good choices in every price bracket. OP doesn’t mention what specifically he’s looking for. I’m sure if he did a lot of the Van Perb gents would be more than happy to make suggestions.

Speaking of which, I find the Van Perb community to be much more open than the Vic Perb folks. In more than one occasion I’ve posted to the Victoria 411 only to get crickets; while in Vancouver most reasonable 411 requests get multiple suggestions.

Less granola in Van... better breakfast in Vic

Anyway, here's our plug.. we're one of the largest Agencies in Vancouver with a solid rep. We run Asian Fever and Escort Fever, so all ethnicities covered. You're going to find a lot better selection in Greater Vancouver compared to Vic as it's a larger population and a more competitive market. Don't limit yourself to Vancouver proper.. think Greater Vancouver.. Burnaby has a much bigger scene than downtown Van for example due to its central location and transit connections etc. Girls come from all over Canada to work here.. Victoria not so much.
