Victoria Indoor Workers Dinner Group

Peers Victoria Resources Society is looking for people to join our monthly indoor workers group for people who work in the sex industry. These meetings are for people working at agencies or independently. The purpose of the group is to provide information about relevant topics that impact people working indoors and facilitate social connection with others working indoors. We meet for dinner once each month for 2 hours. Our group welcomes indigenous people, people of colour, people with disabilitie(s), and people representing diverse genders and sexualities.

Dinner is provided. Child minding can be arranged if needed.

These dinners are the highlight of my month, for real. This industry can be isolating, and most of us are leading a double life of some kind. It is so freaking valuable to have a space where we can just be our authentic selves, and share and network with people who just get it, in an atmosphere that is relaxed and casual. The presentations, guests, and topics are relevant and helpful too. I've gotten advice on my business from totes cool and non-judgmental accountants, lawyers, and (my fave) seen a slideshow of unsettling penis pics - now I can tell you the difference between a herpes sore, a genital wart, and a harmless skin tag. Helpful!

In all seriousness though, this is a really cool resource for us here in Victoria. See you at the next meeting, maybe
