I just got a prescription since I was experiencing a few problems. As an aside, with all the tests I had to take before the doctor agreed to prescribe it I was beginning to think there was something more seriously wrong with me.

I have never taken this before. Anyone have any experience with it?

Side effects are flushing of the skin, headaches, stiff shoulders. There are others, but those are the only ones I've experienced. I stopped taking Viagra because I found Cialis had much lesser side effects, and lasted longer (2 - 3 days, for me). Viagra, you should take 30-60 minutes before sex, then you have a 3-6 hour window to enjoy the effects. Cialis (for me, anyhow) is cheaper, since you can enjoy a whole weekend of enhanced performance for the same price as one V, and not get a headache. Like I say though, everyone reacts differently. Levitra (?) is a third option, but I've never tried it.

Enjoy!

Tests were for cholesterol levels, blood sugar, and EEG. I am not diabetic but I have higher blood sugar levels than what I should have. I was told to lose ten pounds, which is interesting to me since I don't think I am overweight. I have taken it and experienced no side effects of any kind. The effect was subtle, I thought the stuff wasn't going to work. Then when I was going to have sex it worked quite well.

Thanks for the information. Yes, I was described as pre-diabetic. Blood sugar was 6.5 and I was told the cut-off is 6.9. I am just under six feet and 199lbs. I did not think I was overweight. Since diabetes runs in my family and I was told being thinner is for my own good I will take the advice seriously.

The flush effect etc from Viagra varies off course. And ED in my case is simply old age related (often if down if interrupted after being up won't go up again - first experienced that decades ago at age 40 when I stopped sex and went to change music with a great lover (not escort) on my birthday).

Have used V for decades but maybe only once a month. The side effects went away after about 2 usages.

Atkins type diet (low carbs) excellent for diabetes situation. I have studied and used it for decades, but related to weight issue. I eat lightly but still gain weight on a normal diet.

Low Carb is only way I have ever been able to maintain or lose weight. A few years ago got off it and up to 240 lbs at 6-2. Now 194 still want to get below 190 but never hungry and of course I like low carb food.

The training nutritionists get is upside down, its the carbs that convert to sugar. Food fat does not go into body fat on low carb as it does if has the carbs to shoot it to fat (unscientific description) and it avoids the insulin response.

As a child I was always the picked on fat kid - In College discovered low carb almost by accident to lose weight - I called it my wiener diet (not sex related). Later I learned why it worked.

If I eat what most would consider normal diet I will gain 5 lbs in a few days even if low total calories.

But different bodies act differently both to diet and erection drugs.

I also tried all the herbal stuff vs Viagra but they did nothing for my "problem". Works for some but not others.
