I did a quick scan thru threads to see if V can be bought locally without prescription. I have some Asian tourist friends asking for it. It appears this is not easy. Is there any way to make a purchase locally? TIA for your assistance in this matter!

I suspect not. But if they know even one local male freind, he should be able to get a subscription, fill it and sell it to them for his cost. Doctors almost never refuse a subscription. Their local friend can go to a medical clinic they don't normally visit to acquire the subscription if they want to be discrete. Since no medical plans cover V from what I understand, there can be no question of fraud.

There can be some serious medical problems some men can have that would make taking Viagra dangerous for them. It should only be prescribed by a Dr. (the law in Canada in fact) since a man's health can change suddenly and put him at risk for a heart attack or other serious health issues even if he has taken it with no problems in the past.

I'm guessing going through customs with little pills makes them nervous.

Or they don't want to accidentally leave some in luggage and have to explain to missus at home

I'm curious why they would not just purchase V in asia?

JD
there's a good chance they could buy the counterfeit variety.
there was that tragic story of counterfeit baby formulas circulating a couple of years
ago resulting in unnecessary deaths of infants.

not sure what the make-up is with counterfeit V's, but why take a chance?

If the tourist are from China, I can totally understand why. There is a constant stream of news about unsafe food or counterfeit products. Right now it's the expired chicken that was used in KFC and McDonald's in Hong Kong. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-07-28/an-china-mcdonalds-food-scandal-widens/5629992

Just post an email address on the internet and wait for the spam.

Seriously, they can see a doctor here, - they just have to pay full fare for the visit. There are plenty of walk in clinics with pharmacies right next door.
