All prescription meds are tax deductible, hence the elaborate receipt most pharmacies give you detailing how much was covered and how much you paid out of pocket.
You actually get a tax credit if you medical expenses exceed a certain amount (it is quite a high amount), so most people never qualify for this deduction.

i just got a 50 mg prescription for the first time...can i ask the pharmacist for the 100mg instead so i can split it in half? also what is the price difference for the 100mg and 50mg? thanks
