Wasn't there a hostage taking at 205 just before it closed? And, while I admit, there is safety in numbers, I don't think that even an MP is a safe place. A creep, bent on doing something like this, could do it just as easily in an MP as a private incall...
It all comes down to possibility vs. probability. For the number of encounters between men and women, either for pay or not, there are always going to be a small number that go bad. Its when we start letting the minutely improbable possibility that something might happen cause us to change the way we do things that the thugs end up winning. Like 9-1-1, the terrorists caused a lot more damage than the buildings and people that were destroyed. They changed our way of life, but not for the better.
Same with these slashers, if they make us change our ways, they win, we lose. I'm not saying that we shouldn't be careful, and that steps shouldn't be taken to assure our valued girls are kept safe. But lets not lock them away in a vault, never to see the light of day again, or let them cower in fear every time a phone rings...
Just my 2 cents worth...
