Sorry you had such a crappy time with those no-shows. A lot of the guys here are professionals, and their time is money, so if someone does a no-show for an appointment, then they lose out. By the same token time=money for a sp as well, especially if she is traveling from another city/province. If someone does a no-show, then they lose out on a few hundred dollars. Enough no-shows and she has to cancel/shorten her trip to save face, as in the case with this lovely lady.
What a lot of guys that pull stunt's like this do not realize is that they are shooting themselves in the foot with this behavior. Already Calgary has a history of flakiness, but if the trend continues then a lot of great girls will simply stop visiting here, or start charging exorbant rates to make up for the flakes.
How about this suggestion? Aside from providing verifiable references, if you or any other sp is having problems with last minute cancellations/no-shows, what about having something like a waiting list for guys wanting to see you and are flexible with the time/day? That way if something happens, then you can contact the next guy, (of course he would have to consent to it ahead of time), and be able to fill your time slot. That way the guys that really want to see you, can, and the guys that don't, well they lose out.
