the lacklustre session was likely due to her feeling poorly and having very little sleep on Tuesday night after an 8 hour bus trip. This is not an excuse for the poor performance just the reason why.
I know several PERBerts who will say she should have stayed away from MMC when she was not feeling well; however, I disagree. Many of us have to stay at work on a sickday because it is expected by the business or required by our budgets. To the extent our perfromance is less than our best, it is unavoidable, but understandable.
If you feel that any SP has to give you her best effort everytime that you see her, you are being naive. None the less, it is your choice to expect that when you are the paying customer. How many athletes (Oilers) give the same performance each night? They still have to play and they still get paid. I know we admire the ones who are there every night (Ryan Smith) and criticize the ones who are not (Raffi Torres); however, in the end, we need both of them to "play the game"!!
