Hey Leo it’s time to create a brand new section, fully verified ads and providers. This place has become scam central. There are some good providers on here and I don’t think holding them to a certain level is asking too much, creating a stand alone section of sp’s that are verified is a big deal. Nobody is forcing anyone to do anything but I would contact only verified talent. The scams on here now are as frequent as the legit ads. It’s dangerous, somebody is going to get robbed, already happening, or worse because gentlemen can’t call law enforcement for help if this is extra curricular fun, and the scammers know it. Clean this place up

Original owner was Vancouver native. Few years back moved overseas for obvious reasons. After the BP disaster he decided to block American IP's and switch to euro so would have no connections even monetary to Canada or US. Last thing you want is Homeland Security or FBI on your case.
New owner...have no idea. Cost for a girl to stay on first page-1 bump every 35-40 minutes. Verified 3.43 euro's per, unverified 4.29 euro per.
Leo is like Craigslist, if you don't stay on page one guys often don't make it to page 2 so cuts down your chances drastically. If you bump enough each day you get a free bump and at end of week get to be vip. Problem is that each time you get either the next time the amount increases. I have seen 15 bumps needed per day for free and have to keep it up for 7 days to get vip. Do those calculations.

These ladies need to start their own page, run by people that aren’t looking to exploit these women at all. Sell ad space to make money why go after the girls, we’re here because they are, not because of the website. Ladies where you go we’ll follow!!! Being verified is better for everyone but it can’t be at the expense of the sp’s. Click pay is for advertising, I’m sure LL is in on that, are they sharing with the Ladies who are driving traffic to their site? Ladies-if you build it we will come
The majority of fake ads are posted by Leolist themselves. Check the site rankings and the revenue from ads is only around $150 US per day. That is less than 20 real ads each day CANADA WIDE!

Unfortunately, verified images are easy to steal by other users and uploading them to their own ads.
A diligent scammer can either assume that identity or photoshop out the name to add a different one, or leave blank.
I would only bother to verify my images for the cheaper rate and definitely not to prove I am the person posting the ad.

Am I missing something? There are already Verified Ads on Leolist. If you select "more filters" you can select Verified Ads only.
Yes it is an unfortunate reality when trying to achieve VIP status...one has to post more in order to achieve this feature...and can be costly. Still better than the halloween cartoon feature although.
My take on verified is that leolist works hard to discern whose photos those are and will decline a photo if it is edited because that is their screening process. Verified photos are a good way to screen out the over the top fake ad nonsense.

Twice I have notified ladies that I have personally seen to notify them others were using stolen pictures of them.
Both times they had photoshopped in new phone numbers on the handwritten LL sign uses for verification.
Both times the ads using stolen pictures were "Verified".
This damages the reputation of the original owner of the photos since the ones using stolen pictures are usually scammers or subpar at best.
I hardly look at LL, so if I caught two there must be lots more.
LL is mostly automated, whoever runs it would never have time to look at every single ad. Users need to be careful and exercise due diligence.
Most of all, if a user meets a known fake WALK AWAY. Staying and paying encourages scammers.
I would like to see proof of this stolen & verified photo edit thing as I have never seen this permitted on leolist. Leolist does not permit the use of other providers photos on ads. I have gone to bat for a well known provider in the past and contacted leolist about it when someone had posted an ad that was not the original providers ad and was defaming them. Leolist took the ad and account down that was doing this. And I got response from leolist with a detailed email confirming their involvement with the concern.
How recently was this? The new LL does not even require a name or phone number on the "verification " photos. It needs only to say Leolist.cc!

Poonerboi you are correct. Verified ads only have to say leolist.cc A provider is permitted to have more than one account on leoluist but can only have one verified account. If a provider tries to verify the other account leolist will not permit it. Example of editing not permitted: If a provider has had a photo verified and then tries to crop the face out of the photo and resubmit it the photo will be declined with a comment stating no editing permitted. my previous comment was stating that leolist was proactive with stated concern that ad was not a verified ad.
What about a site that's only verified SPs? That wasn't hosted anywhere near the States, had strong search parameters, let the advertisers see their analytics to make more informed marketing choices, had a support team that valued input and responded to issues and would allow for links out to Twitter/Switter and other websites?
