Im from edmonton and I was just visiting vancouver and whats WRONG with your city. Everyone is asian, the parking to soooooooo high Im still waiting for my loan to be approved, the price of gas is the highest priced gas in north America, every corner had either 2 guys holding hands or kissing each other and soooooooo many homeless. Man your city SUCKS. And you hockey team lost in the first round. HAHAHAHAHAHAH. How in the world is your city the most livable city in the world. Its the STD capital of the world. Well you can keep you city because it sucks, The only good thing about your city are the escorts. I sure love them.

hi there my name is chief and I would like to start off by saying what a beautiful province alberta and this is where I want to live. Currently Im a third class power engineer with 12 years process operator experience. I have 12 years panel experience with D.L.C on a plc system and I was an assistant shift engineer for the chief of a first class plant. I,ve been applying on line to all the major oil companies (examples suncor, syncrude, nexen, shell, DMI pulp and paper, flint, transalta, Encana, Imperial Oil, etc) for the last year and gotten only one phone call BUT alot of emails comfirming and thanking me for my interest in the company.

I live in vancouver and will be flying down to edmonton on june 13 staying for couple of days then driving to fort mcmurray and staying there for a few days in hope of finding employment. Im hoping with me flying down there that maybe I can find an opportunity for employment. My question to anyone using this site do you have any advise that could lead to employment. Im willing to move to the region and finding it really really hard trying to find employment not knowing anyone in the oil and gas industry.

can anyone help with some leads that might lead to a job in that region

1) Highest Property taxes I think you meant to say.. Whats your source?? do you have facts and figures to back that up ? Ontario has been in the lead in that department for years. In 2010 Saskatoon per capita was extremely high.( but has been since adjusted. Is property tax high sure because the VALUE of the land is high here.

2) Highest Cost of Gas.. Yes our Gas is higher out here in Vancouver than Alberta but a lot of that is due to levy's and taxes placed within or gas to cover infrastructure improvements, environment (that they don't give a FK about in Alberta) etc.

Quebec average price for Gas is about the same or more.. Maritimes price is a bit higher.. Highest Gas Price in Canada is in the North West Territories 179.9

3) LOL Parking the Highest in the northern Hemisphere.. Don't go to LA/ or New York then... LOL if you think parking is high here...
4) BMW's a great cars Germans make good stuff.. (just ask the Sham wow guy) Next.
