I saw this pick up artist approaching and socializing with women downtown. It doesn't bother him that he gets recognized as he goes out to meet women and even tells girls "I'm a pick up artist" when they ask what he does for a living. He actually coaches pick up artist seduction techniques in his 3 day boot camps for around $1000, which I find ridiculous. It includes seminars, style make over and two nights at a club (that wouldn't cost me more than a few hundred at most).

There are lots of mixed comments as he seems to be charming to many women, but many may also find him creepy. Looks like you just can't be socially accepted by all if you label yourself as a "pick up artist" no matter how confident you are.

Some people find paying for sex at all.... ridiculous. Some people also find mongers.........creepy. Yet here we are guilty of that, so I think it would be hypocritical for us to judge.

His rates are actually much lower than that of other 'Seduction camps', who charge $2500-3000 for similar bootcamps.

If he helps men gain more confidence, and attract women, and feel better about themselves (without demeaning or physically hurting women) then I say its well worth the investment, as these skills can last a lifetime. Heck, I know a guy who has spent multiple thousands of dollars on meds, self-help books, eastern medicine practicioners, holistic healers, witch doctors etc.. to overcome shyness/anxiety/confidence issues without avail.

Vancouver is not a good city for P4P IMO, so having some pickup or seduction skills is important if you want to get laid.

He isn't a charmer, he is a creeper without a doubt. Anyone who does this systematically for the sole purpose of getting laid is a predator and little better than a rapist IMO - they have the same mindset. This sort of approach can only work on women who are naïve, those with experience are not going to fall for the bullshit.

It is guys like that who make women cynical about men and wary of their motives. That ends up making it way harder for regular guys to find potential mates.

I read the Neil Strauss book The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists years ago and saw the VH1 show "The Pickup Artist" both were interesting, but having read and seen what I did, this would never work. Not to mention I wouldnt give the guy an opportunity to even try. At least in the book and on the show "Mystery" wore funky New Rock boots (like I have ) and had a look that I find attractive- this guy not so much.

If your only goal is to use someone and you want to lie to do it, your an asshole. See an escort or find a girl and tell her your only looking for friends with benefits and treat that person well. Lot's of girls also want NSA especially 20 - late 20's girls. If the chick catches feelings well that's her problem if you were up front from the beginning.

It sounds more like "how to be the biggest douch bag bootcamp" and any guy who does it should be embarrassed of themselves. You can get NSA without lying and being a sleaze bag and paying to do it.

I will give the guy props for his entrepreneurial skills though. Even if I don't like what he is doing, he is basically in the same industry as we are, creating a business based on the sexual desires of men.

Mr Pickup isn't particularly interested in sex. He wants to manipulate and control others, to feel that he has beaten them at something. His kind are in every line of business and are horrible to deal with. They can't give anyone a fair deal, they have to WIN WIN WIN. They cheat at golf, they cheat on their wives, they stab employers and co-workers in the back.

Completely agree. Sociopathic personality. Often successful, always risky to deal with.
