Vancouver Murder... please help....

Hi guys... I'm a member of Terb regulary, but someone contacted me on chat and asked if I could help.
Her sister is one of the murdered vancouver SP's and just talking to her I can feel her pain. She'd like to ask your help... below is the coversation I had with her. Please remember this is someone's loved one and in a time of such tragedy we should all help if we can.

If anyone can help thank you! I've been speaking to Tammy's sister and I can't help but say how heartbreaking this would be if someone didn't call and they could of helped. As a girl that works in this industry I can only imagine the pain my family would feel if I was hurt or worse Killed when working. Pleas e let's show how this is a community and that no matter what we really do care for each other.

Jenn, she was murdered in Burnaby South.

Kyra, you're doing a good thing here by helping out Tammy to bring to justice the asshead coward that caulously killed her sister. Unfortunately, the post about the RCMP's hands being tied is true. It's up to the Crown Council to decide what to charge the shithead with and, because of lack of evidence (I'm assuming), the Crown will only seek a charge that will stick, this one being a plea bargain down to manslaughter. BC Crown Councils are notorious for only persueing a slam-dunk charge, a no-brainer, one that will be successfully prosecuted in the courts. It's another unfortunate move to operate more as a business with the tax payer's money. If they persue a charge of first degree murder they need evidence that it was pre-meditated and an email is simply not going to cut it. Judges will never accept email threats as evidence of a death threat, much less as edivence that the murder was pre-meditated. It casts too much doubt and if they were to persue it, he'd probably walk. Now, you don't want that now, do you? The way they're doing it, they get him to admit to a lesser crime and he gets sentenced and goes to jail. I don't think there's much that can be done at this point.

As for the other evidence, I am not sure about as I don't know what it is, but it's probably pretty weak and probably points out to only hurting her and not pre-meditated murder. I am sure that the RCMP and Crown Council have had time to review it and realized that it is not solid evidence.

...but then, I am not a lawyer so don't take my word for it. You should talk to a lawyer or at least contact the UBC law students free legal advice for a steer in the right direction.

My sympathies go out to Tammy's family and friends.

As Aaron Hickey has not yet had his day in court, and therefore not yet found guilty, under the law he is Tammy's "alleged" murderer.

Whoever murdered Tammy, I hope that they are prosecuted to the full extent of the law providing Tammy's family with some sense of closure.

THis monday at 9 or 9:30 am yup short notice ..... thats what the RCMP said then they told them about it,.,.. they are CHOAKED....they told me that they have enough information to charge him with first degree murder and at the least come out with Second degree .....
