Hello gents (and ladies). I will be visiting beautiful downtown Vancouver in a couple of weeks. I would like some suggestions for hotels. I am seeking comfort based on reputation, safe neighborhood, keyless elevators, price (under $200 per night), and juccuzzi rooms. I will be having a duo with two of your gorgeous ladies so I want to do it right. I should add that I will be staying three nights, so perhaps there are hotels with a 'third night is free special'(?). Feedback appreciated.

Pretty Centrally Located. Prices for rooms in a few weeks are 183. And it's a nice looking place on the outside.

The gorgeous hotels in Vancouver are:

1) Fairmont Pacific Rim
2) Shangri-La
3) Hotel Georgia

See if you can get anything for under 200. If not try calling the hotel and asking. Sometimes that

Hi Comical!

Welcome to Vancouver. I have written up a blog post here where you can find suggested hotels for a special evening(s). I would also recommend the hyatt hotel downtown for date friendliness and a central location at affordable rates. Hope you enjoy your stay in Vancouver and our concierge service is open to restaurant and entertainment recommendations if you need some ideas.

Thanks to all for the suggestions. Quite surprised though to find most of these high-end hotels do not have jaccuzzi rooms. The FPR does, but at $499 per night, well....

For $200 or under a night try the Metropolitan. Nice rooms, good location, no key cards, and if your date is adventurous enough there is a pool, jacuzzi, and workout room, all of which are sparsely populated in the late evening.

I would advise you to go with Airbnb: you will have an entire apartment all to yourself and, of course, 'in control' of the elevator! Best of all, cheaper and more comfortable than [a] hotel.

Not always ... I met a lady who rented a place on Airbnb and she didn't have control of the elevator as the place didn't have a landline and she had to comedown to get you. Just a bit of advice on the subject.

That's fine. I left my windows un-tinted on the car to make sure people saw me getting road head :D

Are the elevators and staff SP friendly ?
