I see, I see... Hope My ignorance didn't offend! I grew up down town and my moms life rules went something like... Always be honest, always be polite, never talk back to your elders, never go to surrey, always wear clean panties, never take candy from strangers.... Lol

LOL Not at all...Like I say, I cling to having grown up in White Rock, which means never having to say you're Surrey...
During my university days, my boyfriend was a guy who grew up in the Arbutus Ridge area, and a high school classmate of his once referred to me as "that girl from outside the neighbourhood"...it's all perspective.

And it turns out that "Yaletown Girl" is actually Tamara Ecclestone, a British-Croatian socialite, television personality and model according to wikipedia. I didn't bother to check the other images but it's not looking like any of these ladies are "Vancouver girls" at all.

Miss VanessaofBC.... I'm a Vancouver girl. I would pick my picture to be the Kitsilano girl. I just work over the Port Mann bridge, so I only drive into North Surrey on the 152 exit, and then go back to Van! I don't party/dance/dine out there!
