Quit living in the past the Leafs last won it in 67 back when the NHL was an old boys club and they used to take turns winning the cup. This was 3 years before the Nuks were formed they're both huge losers.
We'll I guess Montreal and Toronto just got a lot more turns then the other teams because they are way ahead on cups won.

They are both losers now but at least the leafs were winners once.

Actually it was even more crooked than that. Each team in the NHL had territorial draft rights to players in their respective geographic areas. So Toronto got all the best guys born around Toronto and Montreal got all the best pea soupers while the American teams got their pick of all the top US talent  (although I think the Red Wings might have been entitled to players around the Windsor area). This lasted until 1963 when the first draft started and a few years after that the Leafs became the shitbags we all know while the Canadiens made a lot of great trades with expansion teams for draft picks and they took the right players and excelled.

The Colorado team was built by the Nordiques then they bought the rest of the guys and counted on Montreal giving them Roy.
they weren't 'built' they made the deal of a lifetime by giving Eric Lindros to Bobby Clark and getting Peter Forsberg and a supporting cast (5 or 7 players or picks?) in return.

It made them an instant 'winner' and the move to Colorado gave them the cash in the pre-cap days to pay them well to play well.

Sounds like a good system to me.

Actually, Montreal made the playoffs this season which is more than what Toronto and Vancouver for that matter, can say. So if they are considered losers, what would that make Toronto, bigger losers?

Besides the cup count is 24 Vs 11. How exactly do you define a loser?

Oh I get it, in your delusional little mind your Laffs won the Stanley Cup every year, right? If you want to gloat about the Laffs at least get your facts straight.
