I am assuming most of the posters live in Canada. Yet, not one of you mention any place in Canada.

I wish to go on record as saying that Vancouver is my favorite place to vacation, as often and as long as possible. I might be wrong, but I do not think so.
Its pricey to travel in Canada. Most places you can drive to from Vancouver like Victoria or Kelowna, after gas, ferries, hotels. You would have been better off going to Vegas. I go to Victoria for work on occasion. Ferry and decent hotel for 3 nights during the week.......Same price as flying to Vegas and staying at any of the high end resorts.

Flying around Canada is insane. Last summer my buddy had to fly to Calgary.
The best rate westjet had was $550, Best Air Canada had was $625.

The best deal he found was Air Transat, who doesn't actually offer flights from Vancouver to Calgary.
He booked Vancouver to Munich, that you transferred planes in Calgary........$515 after taxes.

You can get to Hawaii direct from Bellingham, its even cheaper than a flight to Calgary or Edmonton.

Here and There
You think those rates are bad. A poor co worker had to go from Regina to NS around Xmas, on only a few days notice, cost him 3500, ridiculous! Mine was 1300 (these both round trips). Another went home to china and it wasn't much more than mine. Flying in canada stinks, I always prefer to drive unless time is an issue.

North Shore
Tenerife or Gran Canaria.

Since I first went in 06, I've been back every year. Awesome weather, topless beaches and plenty of British and German tourists looking for a good time. ;)

Even Canadians say f it to traveling to other parts of Canada. I love it! Ha Ha.
Its pretty decent where I live, Seattle. Serious bargain fares to the Bay Area, LA, Phoenix, none of the rip off 400 dollar Van to Montreal shit Air Canada tries to pull. Hmmm, you wonder why no one like them?
Our cities down here are grittier, more crime, less sterile so its not all peaches down here.
Anyway, if anyone wants to see some New Mexico pics PM me, I'm headed to Albuquerque-Santa Fe this Weekend to see if I want to move there someday. I am flipping already thinking about this coming October and the 30,000 inches of rain coming our way.
God Please donate to my get out of the Northwest Fund!

Glacier National Park

I guess everyone has their own favorite National Park to visit and relax in sometimes. To each his own - with each park having their own personality from Banff to Yosemite. My favorite will always be the beautiful Glacier National Park in Montana with Waterton coming in second.

I like the way Robin Williams describes Glacier National Park; " If it isn't God's backyard, He certainly lives nearby! " :) :)
