Useless Numbers vs Posts statistics?

Has anyone looked at these numbers. It seems like on Perb, we're trailing Terb significantly. But why?

TERB members: 132,175
TERB posts: 3,623,057
That's 27.4 posts per member on average

PERB members: 69,567
PERB posts: 988,429
That's 14.2 posts per member on average

TERB also has 367% more users than PERB but only a 48% more increase in posts.

Technically though Perb covers Saskatchewan, ALberta, Manitoba and all of BC.

Doesn't explain the difference in per member postings. Maybe PERB members have busier lives... or TERB members like to see themselves in print more?
Wouldn't worry about the difference in absolute numbers as that simply reflects differences in population base.... probably.

maybe it's got something to do with posts being removed when members retire or are banned?

maybe perb's got more wierdo's that require removal hence more removed posts
