Tell us that, in addition to your many other misunderstandings, that you don't know how laws are passed, either.
I would tell you that if it were true. Tell me that you don't understand how political power works, and the checks and balances that are built in that Trump is eliminating, voiding and otherwise undermining.
I notice you didn't try saying be was a good person.. too bad, I could use a good laugh

What kind of idiot bases their vote on self interest?

Lol.

More condescension.

You're at another level, you know better.
No. I'm altruistic and have a sense of morals. I hope and pray that people will do the right thing.. I don't expect it.. but I have hope.

If Americans paid attention and did their research they would know that Trump isn't in their self-interest.
They just don't care and he uses their apathy to feed them bullshit lies that they believe.

Mainstream media is dying because people don't trust it anymore.

Try the support group.

It won't help with your TDS but it will probably be comforting to be around like minded people.
What is your fascination with this imaginary TDS syndrome? Is this the way that you convince yourself that Trump is a good person? Or is it a deflection mechanism to help you ignore the obvious?
A good therapist can help you with that.

Still waiting for you to explain that he's a good person... But no.. you don't respond to anything that might make you have to think and come up with a logical defense for the indefensible.

I won't be needing a support group. Just had an awesome visit to the Lake and I am feeling wonderful. Posted a review.
Read your posts.. had a few laughs.. had some fun responding to you..
Have a great evening.

You're altruistic and you have a sense of morals.

Congratulations, you have successfully virtue signaled.

First you said Americans were dumb and apathetic.

Now you're saying that they weren't paying attention.

These are called "excuses."

Trump won because he was the better candidate.

Not the best candidate, the better candidate.

The Democrats managed to do something amazing.

They chose a candidate that was worse than Hillary Clinton.

Not only that, they picked a candidate that would go on to lose to an evil/unhinged/insane/psychotic/fascist/rapist/felon.

Back to drawing board.

Did I say that Trump was a good person?

I don't think I did.

If you're having fun, I think that's great.

We should all be having fun.

The US of A has had declining education in the masses since Reagan cut funding for basic education. After 2 full generations of poor education, we see it in the lack of critical thinking, ignorance of many things not directly in the purview of the individual, and the list goes on. The shell game started in the 80's is in full bloom today. And not just there, the same is creeping into other countries as well. Sad ...
the slow attack on empirical education is very significant.

the GOP's new plan is school choice... the plan has two beneficiaries. one, private schools that are run for profit. two, most of these private schools are selected by parents for ideological/religious (those terms are synonymous) reasons. and ideology/religion is what the GOP is good at. most of their support is now with non-college educated voters so those voters will never have strong empirical thinking.

Are you saying that parents should have say in what their children are taught?

That's outrageous!

It's best left up to the government and teachers unions.

Everyone knows that.

Duh!

Everyone to some degree is a bully. Parents bully their kids to brush their teeth, go to bed early, clean up their rooms etc. If they don't its some type of punishment or treat or favorite activity that is taken away. Threat maybe??

The government makes laws. Police enforce them. Courts makes punishments for breaking laws. The idea of a law is that there is the threat of punishment. Isn't that a form of bullying?

Without bullies, how do you know if you can stand up for yourself? People hate bullies because they been bullied themselves.
You have a very fucked up idea what "bullying" is.

Normal parenting is not bullying, it is teaching and discipline - meant to help a child, not fuck them up. Parents who just bully their kids are shitty parents & abusers.

Ditto the police and courts punishing criminals. That is not bullying - that is more like stopping bullies, enforcing consequences by taking down scumbags who harm to other people to benefit themselves.

Bullying is choosing to attack someone else to boost your ego, to enhance your social standing - and in particular, going after people who start at a disadvantage to you, hence the reason why bullies are cowards.
Do not kid yourself. They are not showing courage, or trying to improve anything - they are just acting opportunistic attacking safe shots at people they think cannot fight back, and then hiding behind the goodwill & mercy of other people to protect them from punishment.
Cowards with their target selection, then cowards when it comes to facing consequences. The kind of people who should never be in uniform because they will definitely abuse any authority they are given. And when things get tough, the bullies are more likely break their oath of service and turn traitor just to save themselves.

Young kids might make these mistakes out of ignorance or lack of proper guidance, but as they get older and know what they are doing to others, it is a conscious choice to do evil, therefore they do not deserve any more understanding or mercy.

I have to say Justin Trudeau has just gone up tremendously in my estimation as Donald Trump’s stunning cabinet picks have a poor opinion of him according to the National Post!!
Postmedia is an American-owned "canadian" media company and it shows.
But hey, stating the obvious is a good way for them to fill up more space, rather than report actual news.

When I first saw this, I thought it was satire.
Then I saw it again, did some searching, and I'll be fucked if it isn't real.
Talk about a grifter...

Has tarnished the office forever. Folks mocking Harris for fundraising and this tent preacher has never let up and never will. I recall the freakout when Obama wore a beige suit and "disrespected" the office. Those were quaint times.

Don't forget MSNBC.

Those goofballs are going to have to find new jobs soon.
Im wondering how it will go when they have one of those discussion panels about Trump featuring Morning Joe and Mika on with Joy Reid, Ari Melber and/or Lawrence O Donnell. Watching that after the Mar a Lago visit should be fun.. Those fences wil notl be mended easily.
