i'm reminded of this...

Leader of the pro-Trump Project 2025 suggests there will be a new American Revolution

“second American Revolution” that will be bloodless “if the left allows it to be.”

i guess the "left" are not going to allow it to be!

i find this interesting since Trump really appeals to testosterone gun wielding types... who are always projecting the "left" as pussies. i guess there are a bunch of lefties that are ready to "go downtown"!
1 in 5 Americans think it'll take violence to get the country back on track, with the biggest increase in that kind of thinking being in the left of the picture, though the right is still way ahead.

I still think he who shall not be named, is behind these 2 "failed" attempts. Any press is good press, and this type of action riles up his cult base.
Probably. Chances are Trump is behind his own assassination attempts so he can be a hero to his cult lol

I didn’t think he’d get in the first time and was completely shocked lol. I hope Kamala can best him. But the fact that millions still like a sleaze ball like him is crazy. I’d think Trump would eat puppies and kitties more than any Haitian. The guy doesn’t like animals, has never had a pet and his sons hunt elephants.

Of course not.

What I am trying to convey in my comments is that people's hate for Trump blinds them from what is really going on.

I can't obviously share but in my line I know exactly how the MSM operates and what the big picture goal is here.

I would encourage you to do a thought experiment:

Replace Trump with someone who you find more pleasing. Try to remove the emotion associated with Trump and look at things through that lens in regards to what was said about Biden being mentally fit, about Kamala's joy, etc.
You can't obviously share?. That's entirely too convenient and immaterial. It's the refuge of the conspiracy theorist. If you can't share, you obviously have no means of convincing others, and they must take you on faith. I don't know you well enough, and I daresay neither does anyone else here, to believe you based on your word alone. Thought experiments are interesting, but again, you're not providing any new or relevant data to consider, and absolutely nothing to back up your viewpoint. You're promoting doubt about what people believe without providing a reason for that doubt. Not very convincing. I agree that the emotions associated with Trump can colour people's perceptions,.. I don't agree that the emotions and the conclusions created in such a manner are immaterial... I think they're very material. Not sorry to disagree.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Trump fan. I would prefer a better candidate. In the current climate, 100% Trump over Harris. She wasn't even selected to be Presidential nominee, she was just on the ticket with Biden. No one voted it for her and they just did a switch a roo. The Democratic party are a bunch of idiots. How are the best 2 options Biden who was clearly already showing in the world stage that he was mentally declining and not fit to be president and then his running mate that is pretty unpopular and most don't like.
You may have been right that Kamala was unpopular... but I think you're blind if you think she's unpopular now.. The thousands and thousands of people, democrats, republicans, celebrities, business leaders and people from virtually all walks of life seem to find her pretty popular now... Trump is upset Biden isn't his opponent anymore, people keep saying how Kamala has no policies.. but then she puts out policies.. they say she's was unpopular.. but sure seems popular now.. they say she's afraid to do an interview.. then she does one and kicks Trump squarely in the balls.. Pretty sure looking back and making assumptions about Kamala is a losing bet. She's listening to people and, I think, genuinely trying to be a better option that everyone can move forward with than the alternative, Trump, whom you admit you're not a fan of.

Looks like calling him Hitler, Stalin, the Devil, dangerous, threat to freedom warranted another murder attempt today. Even the Canadian people overwhelming want him not operative in literal form or in job form.

I have said it before here he may not survive till Nov 5th.

I will say if he is murdered this thread will be a happy place since 95 percent of the posters here hate him to the bone.
I don't want Trump to be murdered.. that would make him a martyr and further polarize the right, perhaps giving even a tool like JD Vance a chance to win. I'd prefer that Trump simply lose the election, get sentenced to jail, sued into financial oblivion and decline into his dotage peacefully... one can only hope.

No, his hard core maga base has turned against him.
Alex Jones is one of many openly posting that Trump’s death would be a trigger for civil war. Maga would win and impose radical change.
When the maga Night of the Long Knives comes Trump won’t be the Hitler he wants to be- he’ll be Ernst Rohm.

Let's not scream victory yet ! He will get a little sympathy jump in the polls for the next week or so , if it doesn't move the needle enough after another attempt than i would definitely agree . But 8 weeks in politics is an eternity as we all know .

Are you not afraid to jinx the results with your hopeful positive thinking ???😳🤔😉
Opps! knock on wood. I just so much want to see him face the consequences of his many crimes. He has been so elusive, like a slippery fish, far too long.

I honestly thought that if you had waterfront property and the ocean rose then that would be a bad thing... But apparently you get more ocean!

5 takeaways from Trump’s town hall with Sarah Huckabee Sanders

“Not that the ocean is going to rise in 400 years an eighth of an inch, and you’ll have more seafront property if that happens,” Trump said. “I said, ‘Is that good or bad?’ I said, isn’t that a good thing if I have a little property on the ocean? I have a little bit more property, I have a little bit more ocean.”

Talking to an old friend who works in Florida a while back. He mentioned that there is now regulations in Florida restricting the statement of climate change effects on the shoreline in technical reports provided to the state government. Simply bizarre. Stick your fingers in your ears and say you can't even talk about sea level rise.

kinda like sticking your fingers in your ears and not talking about the real reason

that there are 4-5 Billion too many people on the planet to provide for all, energy, to live healthy, productive lives like the first world does

in a hundred years we went from 2 to 8 Billion

"global warming" "climate changed" "climate emergency"

whatever bullshit term

it's overpopulation that is the problem

the balance is out of whack, has been for almost 100 yrs

of which no one, will talk about

I would agree that over population is a problem but it is peaking and will start coming down despite what guys like Musk and Bezos wish for.

However consider that the energy intensity of people in North America and Europe is massively higher than that of any other country. Energy is not directly related to population, it is also related to the consumption patterns of people. I know that people talk about nasty China and India but those countries are using coal as a stop gap - even they realize the harm they are doing to their local population. If you consider just the level of mercury and other heavy metals that will pollute their country from coal, that in itself is a good reason to reduce coal. Everyone is on their way to nuclear and other forms - maybe fusion within 50 years.

We are too far gone now. We will all feel the effects. It will only get worse.
