I wouldn't go that far. Currently, the baby is being thrown out with the bath water. Everything is out of control at this stage of the game. One might think that this is part of the plan which is to have everyone go against each other much more than it already is. Civil war? That remains to be seen. What I'm reading on social media sites is that there are a lot who feel that something bad is brewing. Who knows...time will tell.

Masterpiece theater is what this now is. And that is concrete.

I hope I am wrong on this. I honestly think in America there will never again be a Republican president. Trump has a 10% chance of winning in November.

Orange Turd was given all the opportunity to defend himself. But he failed to provide even a tiny shred of evidence that he's innocent. No witnesses, no documentary evidences, he did not even testify. Nothing! How can a jury not find him guilty? Impossible!! So to say this is a rigged trial is idiotic, and just plain nonsense to say the least. Even his lawyer when ask why they did not call Keith Schiller or Weisselberg to testify. In his interview on CNN, he practically admitted that calling these two witnesses will only help the prosecution. 🤦‍♂️ Por Dios por Santo! Que Barbaridad! I think you have the justice system turned around. I thought it was innocent until proven guilty. FYI you are not supposed to have to prove you are innocent under their system of justice.

He may not have proven he was innocent but I don't think they proved he was guilty either and the judge wasnt planning to help him any with his decisions like ruling out his main witness, an expert on Election Interference but allowing Stormy Daniels testimony which actually had nothing to do with the case.
But I expected that verdict. And for Westwoody yes...it was a political trial. Thats why they made sure they prosecuted it in New York. There are more TDS people like those on this board in New York than anywhere else except maybe BC and California. It was a sure win. Republican jurors would probably defend Trump and Democrats would want to crucify him. Where is the surprise there?

There was no surprise. Dem jury, Dem state, Dem Judge who donated to Biden campaign. Ya, even a blind man saw the results coming.
Hannity 2 weeks ago called it that Trump would have all charges called towards him and not 1 would go his way. Sure enough, the guarantee became a guarantee.

I then watched CNN and even a couple on the panel were a bit shocked by the verdict results. One described it like the OJ case only the opposite happened. I don't believe Trump will be given jail time for these causes.

Where is the surprise there?

Is he guilty of this and worse.. IMHO Yes!. Are most politicians guilty of similar (if not as openly egregious) violations?.. I believe so yes. Will he go to jail? Probably not. Will this help or harm him in the election? It will definitely mobilize his base to turn out to vote.. so it will help him. I hope that it mobilizes the vastly larger number of moral, intelligent Americans to turn up to vote.. not necessarily For Biden.. But Against Trump. Which is what happened in 2020. Politics is always a nasty and duplicitous business, but now it's getting openly nasty and openly outright duplicitous. Bald faced lying is the current norm and it's hard to see (and even when it's seen it's often ignored) where the truth lies. I believe that Trump is an unrepentant liar and con man, guilty of numerous scams, (many of which are legal as he convinces people to be financially stupid to his benefit of their own free will) and indifferent to ethics and morality. IMHO he's scum of the worst order.. In other words.. He's a wealthy entitled narcissistic Politician.
Not many politicians are truthfully unselfish, it's an unfortunate byproduct of politics, but Trump is definitely, in my opinion, one of the worst.

Isn't it the reason Stormy Daniel was called bcoz the defence in their opening remarks denied Orange turd had a sexual encounter with the SD? This open the door for prosecution to call SD to the witness stand. Its defence own doing. Also the crimes were committed in NYC, right? So it should be tried there. This is to prevent forum shopping. Look at the document case. Crime happened in Florida so case was filed there. He was found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt by 12 juries of his peers. No evidence to the contrary. If you were in the jury, will you find him not guilty with all the witnesses, who were his inner circle? The defence is supposed to defend but apparently they can't do that bcoz O turd has nothing to even create a small amount doubt to the jury that he is innocent of the charges. You just can't defend something that is indefensible.
