I thought about writing a well thought out commentary on Trump... but then shook my head and remembered that it's such a polarizing topic that nobody looks at the facts and acknowledges that there are arguments on both sides of the issues. Close your eyes and ears, and sing out the talking points that support your cause.. ignore anything that doesn't fit with the narrative you've chosen and feel smug that you've cleverly made your point while entirely refuting your opponents.. Politics at its finest.

"So there goes your argument".

You are incorrect.

Each team is allowed to refuse up to ten potential jurors.

The daily potential jury pool was 500 people per day.

Apparently the jury pool is limited to residents of Manhattan.

In the 2020 election 85% of Manhattan voters voted for Biden.

I will let you do the math.

You missed my point, but that's OK.
What point did I miss? The prosecution and the defense were given equal opportunity to dismiss the same amount of jurors.
The jury pool is limited to residents of Manhattan. So you are saying Trump should have been able to pick jurors from further afield to ensure a more partisan group? Alabama or Florida maybe?

He paid hush money to Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about having sex with her and then claimed that money as campaign expenses. That's a crime when you lie about facts to falsely win an election. In some places you could be killed for doing that.
Thats wrong. He declared them as legal expenses. If he had declared them as campaign expenses he would have had to stipulate exactly what the payment was for which obviously he would not want to do. The prosecution had to prove that this actually was a campaign expense and he had a direct hand in it because covering up a campaign expense would be a felony. I dont think that they actually did that but...whatever.

No one knows exactly what in the end he was guilty of. The judge in his directive to the jury gave them three options to charge him with...we dont know exactly what they were or how the judgement went...they could be split on the charges and he would still be guilty even if all the jurors did not agree. I have never heard of this happening before, someone perhaps can find some kind of precedent on this. Also very strange that the jurors were not sequestered in a case this important involving the front runner in the federal election and that they were basically given a week off before having to deliver the verdict.

Anyway he was declared guilty (no surprise) and still no indication as to what. This has been a very strange unusual (sham) trial and is ripe for overturn on appeal. It will be interesting to see the public's overall reaction to this in polling.

Well the 2020 election was probably a sham based on your take. Never his fault.

All we know is there where 34 of them🤔

Actually despite all the legal eagles on this thread, he was found guilty of falsifying records ( a crime ) to conceal a campaign fianance expense ( another crime). But i guess we'll never know what he's really guilty of 🙈

So why was the woman he raped awarded a cash settlement?
Ironically he just got convicted of 34 charges which according to you of which he is completely innocent. Seems conspiratorial.
She was awarded a cash settlement as part of a civil defamation lawsuit.

Obviously it's under appeal and she hasn't received any money yet.

I never said he was innocent.

I never said he was guilty.

I never said he was innocent in the Hush money case.

I don't know if he's guilty.

I'm not going to spend any more time trying to explain it to you.

TDS is a recognized physiological disorder.

Nope, that's not what I'm saying.

I'm saying that they were picking from.a jury pool the was overwhelmingly pro Biden and anti Trump.

The defense could only exclude ten potential jurors, out of hundreds potentially.

I didn't say anything about his supposed guilt or innocence.

Apparently you've got this all figured out.

No amount of facts arr going to change your mind.

"Rigged"

Don't think so.

The people in New York City and New York State voted overwhelmingly for Biden.

Trump is not popular in New York.

They picked a jury that was very likely to convict him.

So...they did.

Like I said "shocking".
If Hunter Biden was on trial and the trial was in a district hostile to Democrats would you complain?

Who picked the jury? Surely Trump’s own lawyers were involved.

Who's complaining?

Everything I said was objectively true.

Did I say Trump was innocent?

Nope.

Don't care about Hunter Biden’s trial.

Imo it's a non event.

Who picked the jury in the Trump trial?

Probably the lawyers for the prosecution and defense. That's usually how it works.

You missed my point.

You have company in that department.

Actually she was awarded a cash settlement for a sexual assault and defamation suit, and then awarded a second amount for further defamation.

And where did he get the bond money from ?🤔
