Katie Wilson is probably going to be Seattle's new Mayor, has anyone read up on her experience and resume. She is getting toasted even on reddit where most poster would love that type to be in charge. You can read about her and see how awful one can be with money and still most likely get elected to be a big city mayor. Use to be you have to work your way up the ladder to be mayor of a big city, now you just offer free things, the rich guys are really bad people and the police force should be lower and that may get you the job. NYC is about to do the same, heaven help my home city.
It's just fucking Seattle.
At least the US has a smart, honest, completely sane president.

How did the first Americans become citizens of the USA? Other than the people signing the declaration of independence, how did people get to be a citizen of the USA. Most Americans citizens today are related to their ancestors who were immigrants to the USA.
Does Trump thinks he is being funny about this statement about the congresswoman; or is he serious?

If there is one thing about Trump we’ve learned, and there is a whole text book worth, it’s that he has absolutely no sense of humour. He never thinks he’s being funny, or “just kidding”.

Necessity vs promises often clash . The question will be if he can stick to his promise to improve affordability but as mayor his power is not as extensive as a governor or a president
Granted there are lazy people and uneducated people.
The cycle of post secondary education and then finding a corresponding middle to high class job is non existent for the average American (the American Dream).
America is bleeding its companies to foreign manufacturers cause the companies are cheap and profit driven. Post secondary education is very very expensive.
Its not that people are lazy, its just not financially suitable/viable for an individual to work at min wage job and still afford a middle class family.

Manufacturers that claim American values, are continuing to go south to Mexico, especially in the car industry. Billionaires and their companies hold the corner market on patents.
Pretty sure that what makes America great is PATENTS and banking. The companies that make money all use patents to protect their interests. Patents are the anti-competition to a robust economy.
The point I am making is that there are not all that many well paying jobs, so why would they get out of bed in the morning??Maybe they recognize that America is dying:
1. crime
2. racism
3. pollution caused by companies in the 50/60/70s
4. drugs and addictions, taking you away from reality
5. unemployment
6. Political party lies/misdirection
7. Unfair tax system, (rich pay less tax than avg American)
IN Canada we have a social net. Well at least one that is kinda working now, but its failing. Whereas in the US the social net has failed, while companies are more interested in profits then to see to the welfare of their workers, who (the workers) make the profit for the company....
Its during these shutdowns that billions of American taxpayer dollars go missing....
