I checked the news this morning and it looks like Trump is still President. He will most likely be President until November 7th 2028. All you haters might want to pace yourselves. You've got a long way to go.
Oh we wish !!! But we will have to put up with him 11 more weeks than what you stated.... January 20th 2029 to be exact and as everybody knows a lot of crap can be spread with a twit who has too much power.
The question remains once again....Will he leave office peacefully this time ? And ... Can the next US president mend the US relationships that will have been scorned , put on the back burner or simply burnt ? Rhetorical questions... something the western world is asking

The problem is that he and the MAGA lunatics seem to be angling to make it much longer than that. If I could be guaranteed that elections, even the mid terms, will ever be free and fair again I’d be alot less vocal about the insanity that’s going on. But I’d bet good money against that happening.

I had a call with a major equipment supplier into the extraction industries this morning. Basically their people confirmed that things are slowing down especially in the area of capital spend. As the bankers in New York indicated to me, it is only going to become worse.
So what's the long term goal of all the MAGA insanity on a daily basis? It’s pretty obvious that the whole Project 2025 crowd are in charge in the US at the moment, but I can’t figure out what the long game is?
Every Trump administration policy: RFK’s nutty health policy decisions, destroying any kind of public health care, the anti vax nonsense, gutting education, gutting the funding of science, fucking up peoples livelihoods with tariffs, etc… etc… etc… the list is endless and expands daily. It all seems to be a deliberate attempt to make the average American sicker, dumber, and poorer. Dumb, sick people cant work, earn a living, and by extension buy as many goods as they must to keep American capitalism going. If I’m China or Russia I can’t believe my good fortune. None of it seems to benefit even the MAGA rubes who put the idiot in office and remain in the cult.
I don’t get the long game here, or why otherwise smart people like Bezos, Zuckerberg et al (evil yes, but far from stupid, and above all greedy) all keep going along with it?
If someone has a reasonable explanation I’d love to hear it. Is it this fucked up “let them all die and replace them with a new batch of indoctrinated Cristian zombies” bullshit? Because that won’t keep the economy going.

Look at Peter Thiel's views and ideology on broken down government that would ressemble little kingdoms . Divide the federal and state entities to lower regulations , minimize the power over big corporations.
Analyze the change of mind JD Vance went through in the last 9 years ...pre Peter Thiel financing and after . While keeping in mind how easily he can be influenced based on former classmates, friends and colleagues.
Add to that Peter Thiel Palantir project and what Doge did or didn't do while getting into critical data banks throughout the US federal government.
I don't subscribe to conspiracy theories normally but with Thiel's fingers in everything but never to the forefront like Musk ...im starting to believe that we are in front of a serious manipulator who might have nefarious ideas without ever pushing for more clarity , helping the little guy , pushing for equality or democracy . Very concerning in my book
