Defence Secretary Hegseth may be an intolerable Deep State disappointment -- failing to deliver the US war on Iran that's been a decades-long ambition of the State of Israel and American collaborators. So on this side of the border but related to the tariff shit show, CBSA is now mandating the CARM initiative for "Release Prior to Payment (RPP) Privilege" for importers.
This is NOT trivial. The small company I am associated with has to post a $163K bond for this to ensure no interruptions on imported goods, all scientific so very little if any duty. OR. Post a prepayment based on the highest value of goods imported in the prior year which is a fuck of a lot of money. I can only imagine what larger importers are going to have to post. Money out of the business cash flow which is going to up the cost of goods and ultimately back to the consumer.
But back to the shit show, I read that fuckhead Pete Hegseth the cunt who can't get his highly secure texting right needs a dressing room with makeup folks to make sure he looks OK for his Faux News appearances. But Yeah, tariffs to the people!!
