A letter from Chretien to Trump
Amen. You can see why he was Prime Minister. Very eloquent and insightful.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Trump has made the mistake of relying entirely on economic and military power, bullying and demeaning to get what he wants. This is resulting in many, Canada for one, uniting in patriotic fervor to withstand the coming difficulties. We know it's going to be hard, and painful, but we aren't going to go down quietly without a fight.
In the past, the USA has had much goodwill from ideological, economic, international and local partnerships. That goodwill is rapidly being eroded and the response is that everyone is looking to cut their dependence and ties to the United States as quickly and as efficiently as possible. Where in the past countries sought out the USA as the partner of choice, now the USA is being regarded as a much less reliable and desirable option and having alternatives to the USA as a necessity not a nicety.
Global energy, the USD as the global currency, the economic power of the US marketplace are all being eroded under Trump. Where many countries wouldn't have questioned that it is preferable to have the USA dominant in the past, the opposite is becoming more and more apparent.
I feel sorry for Americans. But not sorry enough that I would support them in any way now. No more purchases of USA goods, trips to the USA, or anything else that could help them. Chretien is right, we are very patriotic. We will Never be the 51st State.

Cheers.

That plane is the most protected plane on earth, every kind of ECM system that exists. I doubt that have anything that can even scratch it.

The government of Iran wanted to pop Trump ever since the assassination of Gen. Solemani, by Trump's admistration. The USA decided to have the guy whacked because of all military leaders, he was the one most responsible for defeating ISIS in Syria and Iraq, and thwarting the Americans' strategic plans. He personally stitched together the alliance of Syria, Hezbollah, Iraq, Russia, and Iran. (The guy was like Rommel; didn't shy away from going where the fighting was, but also in having a remarkable career even if it was for a shitty regime.)

Actually, since John Bolton and Mike Pompeo were involved, they are on the Iranian shit-list too, and Trump made a point of removing Bolton's secret service protection recently. (Not sure about Pompeo.)

Well, anyways, Iran swore revenge on Trump et al.; they do that a lot. Dollars to donuts, they do not have any actual plan for it in the works. Maybe Canada should send JTF2 to git 'er done and collect that bounty from them, hmm? :sneaky:
This was a dinner table topic amongst some esteemed colleagues of mine ...

Very Hard to see Trump's end goal with all these tariffs.
Is he trying to make division with Western allies. If so his policies are only going to favour Russia and China.
His tariffs are only going to hurt American voters and put a enormous pressure on Wall Street as price fluxuations and inflation affect the stock market prices.

Also pretty much only see the expensive car market being affected (German, Italian, British), as they are better built than American luxury cars. Mercedes, Ferrari, Land Rover etc.

https://policy.trade.ec.europa.eu/e...region/countries-and-regions/united-states_en

I guess its more than cars....

Although a trade war with European countries will mean environmental laws will be suspended in order to do cheap manufacturing of materials. Aahhh the rich really do like to lay waste to places and then move on.

Canada should really slap a 200%-300% export tax on Aluminum, and watch the US air industries crumble....

They're not doing it for no reason. It's because Israel controls their territory and regularly deprives them of the basic necessities for life. When someone keeps you subjugated for life, denying you basic commodities required for life, it's no surprise that they're going to fight back eventually. It's all an environment that Israel itself is responsible for. They actively encourage and benefit from it, each time the people they abuse fight back.
Moved it to internation thread.

Well Israel operates on a eye for eye system. But it more than that, they were surrounded by countries that wanted to see them dead. Its evolved to you kill one Israel, Israel will kill 3 of yours....
The problem here is that most Canadians and Americans sit at their nicely protected homes, unafraid of getting a rocket in their living rooms. Most Isreali homes today are being sold with safe rooms (blast rooms). Crime is not that rapid in Israel, but rockets are.

In the 1990 gulf war, Iraq's plan was to shoot missiles into Israel, to provoke Israel into attacking Iraq, thus involving all other Muslim nation in the middle east.

Today it is Iran that supports terrorist organizations in Gaza (HAMAS), Houthis (Yemen), Hezbollah (Lebanon/Syria). They came up with the iron dome to protect Israel from the hundreds/thousands of rockets that have been launched at Israel over the years. Terror weapons on civilian population.

Hamas built tunnels into Israel and this ended up with the Oct 7 attack.

So with all this back and forth between Israel and Muslim fanatics, Israel policy of forcing out Muslim is a practical solution, as any Muslim inside the borders of Israel is a possible future combatant.... Not saying that is right. Both the Muslim and Jewish religions are wrong with their teachings about eliminating the enemies of their god. Its the same fucken God for Christ sakes..... Its all about worldly possessions and power over people....

I can see that people's reaction to what is happening in Gaza and the collateral damage (women and children being killed). I can see your pain, but you live in an isolated bubble of protection.

The people of Gaza have had their time to keep and maintain the peace. The Palestinians have been given time and space to make a better lives for themselves and always chose to try and kill the state of Israel. Its kinda hard to find those fucken terrorists who are hiding amongst the general population. The general population isn't turning them in.

So what is happening to them right now is KARMA....

Also pretty sure the Israeli's did not turn off the water and electricity till after Oct 7. The question you fuckers should ask, was were the Palestinians paying their electric bill and water bills before that??????

I believe that no Jew wants a repeat of any type of holocaust to happen.

And Trump wants to clear out Gaza and make a tourist attraction for Americans?? VFC-Very Fucken Crazy
Israel has been cutting off electricity, supplies and everything else you can think of in Palestine for literal decades now. They've been terrorizing those people the entire time, and it's only natural for them to fight back eventually.

It's gross and disgusting to target innocent men, women and children, to commit all manners of war crimes against them, and to call them all terrorists simply because a handful of them have the guts to fight back. Of course nobody wants to turn them in, because they're the only ones fighting for the people's lives. They're not just going to kneel down and kiss the feet of Israel and beg them to turn the water on, after all of this. Nobody in their right mind would.

And it's ironic to talk about people sitting in their safe little bubbles, while comparing Israel to Palestine.

Jews? No. Israel is a multicultural country made up of people from all walks of life. But Israel are literally the terrorists, denying the people under their control basic necessities of life, like food, water, electricity and humanitarian supplies. Attacking UN schools with white phosphorous, which is a war crime. Spraying Palestinian homes with feces from water cannons, raping women, terrorizing doctors, branding people with the star of David. They've carried out despicable actions, and literally all in an effort to goad Palestinians into fighting back against them, with the equivalent of throwing a few stones. Because they've monetized that into using it as an excuse, every time it happens, for sucking billions and billions of dollars out of the USA. A cat nips at their toes and they complain to daddy to get bigger and bigger boots to step on the cat with. It's a racket.

its a good name for her , but id rather see Trump name the next trade agreement ( or should i say trade threat ) using first initials of the countries as they are now and have him sign and announce on live media the C.U.M trade deal or CUM swap for short. The fuckin idiot already does a double handed air jackoff to YMCA. As with everything else , he has no idea what hes doing .....or does he ??? 💦😕
Yes if you put his name on the deal he might not be inclined to renege as easily on it as he did on his USMCA from 6 years ago . But as we know his lack of shame and the fact that his supporters are so gullible that he knows he can get away with it.

Gold Revaluation 2025: How Likely Is a US-Driven Monetary Reset?

Mentioned 100k/ounce gold. Price of gold up recently and might look expensive. Could be just an ad to buy gold.
