One class of people who have in masses switched from supporting the Democrats to supporting Trump are a group you might not expect....LEGAL immigrants. I just heard a really good observation on the Las Angeles riots. It's not "looting" that's going on. It's "undocumented shopping". Lol...pretty much says it all.
Seriously? Think about it...I can give you a few hints. The education system , hospitals, criminal organizations, undercutting wages and taking away jobs which helps corporations, driving up the cost of particularly rental housing.......eating peoples pets.....ok not the last one.
Most of that will not impact wealthy elites who have encouraged the influx as they need lower cost nannys and gardeners but have a real impact on middle class and particularly the poor, taking away resources and employment opportunities.
Interesting that these are all typically "left wing" concerns. And as I have suggested many times in the past, the new MAGA Republicans have somehow supposed to have completely changed into a working peoples party... Essentially Democrats!

What you describe can more broadly be attributed to social and economic policy favoring wealthy households. When was the last time the federal minimum wage was raised? Does federal and state policy encourage unionization in industries that have healthy profits? Are there tax breaks for low income home buyers? Health care for the poor? All of these things are religiously attacked by Republicans. Trump is no different.
