Hey, all I want to get a new cell phone, but Rogers does not carry it. I understand you can get someone to fix it so that the phone will work on the rodgers network.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Rogers and Fido use the GSM phones. As such any model will work. It doesent have to be anything special. Every GSM phone comes with a small SIM card that fits in the back of the phone and once it has been activated by Rogers can be transferred to any GSM phone and it should work. If you already have service with them all you need do is transgfer the SIM card to you rnew phone.

Alternatively get their plan and they usually give a phone away for free. Once you have that you can put the active SIM in any GSM phone you like.

I had a Motorola V60i but recently a friend gave me ( because he upgraded ) a Sony Ericsson and all I did is move my SIM and I was on the air with all my contacts and features intact without even having to call them.
