Reasonable price for a dinner date

I am just curious what would be a reasonable rate for a dinner date. Like a
4 hour call. (2 hour dinner and 2 hour intimate time). Since usually SPs charges differently for social engagements, I dont really know what's reasonable and whats not. Obviously the price does not include the cost for dinner(I will pay the bill).

That is very true. I totally agree with you. Its is a pitty that I have to pay to have someone to have dinner with me. I am in a stable relationship with a girl and I have many female friends too. The sad thing is, our(me and my girl) social circle overlaps each other(ie: she knows all of my friends, and basically there is no way I can have a little flirt somewhere without her knowing). Once in a while I just want to get away for a night when she is out of town.(I could have picked up someone from the bar/club/lounge, but danm!! If you live in vancouver long enough, you'll know how small vancouver is, always bump into people unexpectedly). Of course, I can have dinner with a friend and then see a SP afterwards. It somehow feels different though.

Hello. I completley agree with you when you say that it is not really fair that you should have to pay a lady to have dinner and drinks with you, meanwhile your footing the bill. So get a girlfriend. Sorry, that was a bit harsh. But yet you have to look at our point of view. For starters, we wouldn't be there in the first place if you hadn't of phoned OUR website which advertises that we are offering our time and services for a fee, and we inturn fulful your needs and insure discretion. Your not rendering our services for us to be your partner, your rendering our services to insure discretion, your wants and for us to leave. If we were the one to call you, that would make your point vaild, but good luck getting us to leave. But our time is valueble, and valuable enough for you to phone us. We are running a business, and we have bills just like everyone else. So for us to spend 4 hours off our time with you, whether we are out having drinks or alone somewhere intimate, your needs are guarenteed to be fulfilled. Whether that happens or not is up to you. That is what separates us from the girl you meet at Starbucks or at the office. There are no guarentees with them. So in short, its a moot point. It's ypur decision to call us, and we charge by the hour.

I don't think there is anything wrong with paying to take a sp out on a dinner date. It depends totally on what sort of experience you want. If you have a favourite sp whose company you enjoy, why not make the fantasy a little fuller by having the dinner date and then the after dinner fun. Its perfectly appropriate that you pay for her time, however, b/c after all fulfilling your fantasy is her business!!!

Now, if you happen to have a favourite sp who also enjoys your company, then dinner time might end up being free! :D That's a bonus situation!!! ;)

So, back to Shak's original question, what's a reasonable rate?

I'm thinking that having dinner and drinks with someone is a pretty cushy job (certainly compared to fucking someone), so I'm not sure it warrants more than say, four times the median wage. In Vancouver, the median hourly wage is $15, so it seems that $60 would be pretty fair.

I would agree that the rate for the 2 hours of dinner time should not be the same as for the fun time.

So if the usual rate is $200-250 per hour for fun time, then lets say between 500 and 600 for the full 4 hours. Of course its going to cost you a lot more when you add in the dinner bill. But, if you consider how many dinners you might have to buy to get a date into the sack, probably still worth it. Of course, you could add in the $200 you're going to spend at the restaurant and just take a bottle of champage and book a nice long 3 or 4 hour session. That would be a wiser use of coin it seems to me

Sheena West does have a point in that SPs are charging by the hour, so any hour she spends eating dinner she could have been working and making more money. So, I think of it this way.... Most SPs charge about $200-$300/hour for intimate time, and let's say on the average they are available to do calls about eight hours a night, and let's also say they do about three clients per night. That works out to about $600-$800 per night over eight hours, so about $100 an hour (give or take).

Because since sitting at a restaurant and eating is not nearly as "difficult" as having sex, I think she is being fairly compensated for her time at $100 an hour.

That being said, $100/hour (plus room fee) can get you a nude reverse session in Edmonton, so from a pooner's standpoint (not the SPs), it's pretty steep. If you think about it from the real world standpoint, whose conversation skills and ideas are actually worth $100/hour to listen to? Usually the Bill Clintons, Erin Brockovichs, Muhammad Alis, and Carl Sagans of the world. That's why I wouldn't do it myself, though to each their own.

I like two of Everest's ideas -- either go out for dinner with one of your friends and see an SP afterwards, or ask one of the SPs that you already have a rapport with. Those that you know as friends will not charge you for hang-out time, and like company just like any other person.

Well, if the ladies normal donation is $300 per hour, then the proper price for lunch or dinner would be $300 per hour. No matter what you are doing her time is worth $300 per hour. If you don't believe me, think what you would say if your boss came and told you that he was only going to pay you half your hourly wage because it's a quiet day, and you didn't have to work too hard today.

That's just stupid. Her time isn't worth $300 per hour just because you say it is, or she says it is. And if my boss asked for a BJ (covered or not), I'd damn well expect a huge raise (or legal settlement).

To a relatively small fraction of customers, it's worth it to pay full service price for dinner and drinks, but to most it's absurd.

$1200 for a dinner date? Ha ha hah dream on, get over yourself. Worth is where the supply curve crosses the demand curve. That's why a typical four hour dinner date package does not cost $1200.

Exactly! Lets not forgot we are being paid for our time. I know a lot of ladies give discounted rates for this service , which is fine but it shouldn't be expected. I have many guys who take me out for dinner and other things and pay my regular fee...its part of the business....Im "escorting " someone to dinner...why would I give a discounted rate?
"Why" is such a loaded term. The main reason to do it is to make more money. For instance, hotels, airlines and other businesses often charge lower leisure rates for off-peak periods. Phone companies provide discounted or unlimited nights and weekend minutes.

Providers often charge differentiated rates based on activity, charging a higher fee for "GFE" and "Greek" service. So providing no service escorting logically would merit a lower rate, under a service level pricing scheme. How much is DFK worth? Nudity? Touching? CBJ? Just subtract out their relative value.

There's also the PR/marketing/customer relationship angle. It makes a provider seem less mercenary. It makes the client feel like he's not a money tree whose only use is to be shaken. And as Chris Rock says, "A drug dealer makes his money on the come back."

Ultimately, if it won't make you more money, then don't do it. It's a fairly common thing to offer dinner date packages for less than the straight full service rate, so I can only assume that it works out for those ladies.

.
Or you could be like Lester Burnham and demand (and get) a year's salary and benefits and then get a job at the local Smiley Burger with the least possible responsibility.

I dont mean disrespect or anything, but I guess it all comes down to affordabilities. Hell, I would pay more than the regular rate for a dinner date if money is never a concern to me.The fact is, say 300/hr for a 4 hour call, 200 for the dinner bill, and 200-300 for a hotel room. That would be 1600-1700 for a night and not everyone can afford that. Like you said, its a business and business is all about packaging your product. For instance, many SPs have a great webpage with hot and sexy pictures of themselves. Its a way of attracting customers. Maybe this is why some SPs would give a discounted rate for multiple-hours calls/social engagement, since the workload is relatively lighter and they want to get more business?

Of course, its not always about money. But hey!! think outside of the box. For those people that's willing to pay SPs to have a dinner date, it probably says something about them(they long for campanionship in addition to simply releasing the load). They are willing to pay the girl just to have conversation with her. I dont know about anyone else, but to me, the girl has to be smart,well-read and humorous to carry out any decent conversation. Come on, why not give a little discount to those customers who truly appreciate you, respect you and want to get to know you a little more but cant afford the 1600 price tag?

MANY times, how can you say "dream on , get over yourself?" Its not a dream its reality.
A relatively small number of customers willing to pay extravagant prices do not by themselves set the demand curve. The reality is that the demand curve is not price inelastic.

That's why we see specials all the time, either advertised or backchannel.

One particularly beautiful sp asked full price x 4, I said no thanks, she came back with a bit over $500, I agreed.

If a girl can sell just as many hours of social-time-no-sex as she can sell sex-no-social-time, then she's worth full rate. If she can't, then economically speaking social time should cost less.

If social time was just as marketable as sex, I suspect we would be seeing a lot more web sites saying, "Funny, educated, bright, intelligent, able to talk about sports, do your taxes, and tell you how to set up a small business..." instead of "36C-24-36..."

To me, if this is just a business transaction, social time with an SP is like marinade on your steak. The marinade makes the steak better, but let's not lose sight of what its purpose is.

Kinda lame topic IMO, you tricks are all talking like it's your decision how much your gonna spend.

Like some chicks said, they have no problem booking with guys who are more than happy with paying the full rate during their time having dinner. As long as that goes on how can you expect discounts and money put out/effort the the SP puts out ratio to fall in your favour.

I for one would fukk the dinner and just stick to a simple 1hr session. That way you can poon more often and enjoy variety. Sometimes spending 2, 3, or maybe 4hrs with a chick seems like a good idea but it aint. You may try to cram so much activity and conversation and what not into that time that you can wear yourself out and be gettin board and wishing it was time to go before your done.

To much of a good thing, is a bad thing.

Oh give me a break tracky. You're just as much a trick as the rest of us.

I've had a few dinner dates, they were a blast, 5 bills was the max and I didn't waste a lot of time haggling (see above). The ladies were gorgeous and first rate, great attitude, charming and all that.

I hear ya on being bored with tedious girls. My last 1hr hour session went about 40 minutes too long.

I'd only do it with women who rocked my world.

I agree.

If a girl can command and get her full rate for eating dinner and socializing outside the bedroom, good for her. Some guys are obviously willing and able to afford to pay it. Others are not willing, even if they can afford it. Others can not afford it even if they are willing. Who said one size is supposed to fit all and everyone's to be treated equally?

Personally I'm with Hitrack and would rather skip the dinner and social date with an SP and spend more time in session. If I want to pay for a fantasy then I'd rather pay for a fantasy that can only take place behind closed doors. :) Of course, if your fantasy includes a hj under a table in a restaurant and you want to fulfil that fantasy you just might have to find an SP who's willing to do that for you - but don't be surprised if her rates are much higher than normal for this.

Dinner at a good restaurant can be 2 to 4 hours. That's a lot of time to spend trying to engage in small talk with someone you've never met before - especially if both of you want to keep your identities and personal life secret from the other. At my age, that's just too many small lies to try to remember for one evening.

On the other hand, lunch or dinner in a nice restaurant with your regular SP is a little different. You already know each other and perhaps even shared some personal information so small talk is easier. Some SPs have gone on such "dates" for a reduced rate or free with regulars in the past because they liked them and thought it was a kind of "thank you for your loyalty as a client/friendship" and because they may have found the guy interesting. Sadly, guys often have difficulty accepting this as nothing more than a nice gesture on the part of the SP. The guy begins to assume that this is a sign the SP is looking for a more personal relationship than the SP-client relationship. I can see why an SP would then want to do this only if she was charging for her time - helps everyone keep on more of an even keel. This fails to recognize that there's lots of guys who are not looking for a personal relationship and are well able to keep things in perspective. For example, many professional/semi-professional guys and many indepednent businessmen often take clients (some of whom are attractive ladies) for lunch or dinner. They never confuse the occasion as anything other than a pure social lunch or dinner where the sole purpose is to say thank you for an existing business relationship and/or to try to increase/drum up new business. After all, it is possible for many grown adults to have a nice lunch or dinner with a person of the opposite sex where it is nothing more than that: just a nice lunch or dinner with no sexual overtones or expectations of anything more.

So, getting back to the original question: "what would be a reasonable rate for a dinner date. Like a
4 hour call. (2 hour dinner and 2 hour intimate time)".

The answer is: it all depends on the SP, on how often you've seen her before, on how many clients a day she usually sees, on whether she likes extended meetings with clients, on whether she has special dietary restrictions, on whether she's concerned you may not hit it off after meeting, etc....

If you really like an SP, why not tell her what you want and just ask her for the rate and whether there's any "package" deal. If she's never seen you before, tell her something about yourself and in this case providing a reference from a reputable SP who can vouch for you being a nice guy certainly wouldn't hurt (but then you have to explain to that SP why you're not inviting her to dinner lol). If the SP prefers to only see one client a day and usually only gets a one or two hour session a day, she might be interested in giving you a deal. On the other hand, some SPs may prefer several sessions a day but with a break between each session. Each girl is different and there are no hard and fast rules in this business - just exceptions to rules.

Here's a thought. Why not offer to pay her for 3 hours at full rate, plus pick up all expenses for the evening, but leave it up to her to call YOU! Let her know she can call you on any day at 5 pm if she has had no other bookings for the day and none for the evening and she wants to go out with you that evening instead of sitting around at home doing nothing. But if you want to control her schedule, don't be surprised if you have to pay dearly.
