Longtime no talk. But I think you are wrong in this case because this twerp is as stupid as they come. (Now I will rant) Who really gives a damn about what happens in Vancouver when we live in the most beautiflul city in the world. IMHO we have the best SP's in Canada. Just take a look at all the web sites available that show the talent that we as Islanders can partake in. And having said that, everyone should make sure they are totally clean and disease free before even thinking of contacting our gorgeous VICTORIA WOMEN. Give them credit guys, they don't need to shorten their life span because of some jackass that doesn't wish to be protected. What really gets me about the whole issue is that I've been threatened by Mods for doing less than what Littleknob....I mean Bigbone is doing. Oh well, I guess we just have to ignore the twerp.

My turn to wiegh in on this one,

I have seen a few Sp's in the past. to mention a few there was Jude from years back, Tawny (years back), and the wonderful MIA when she we new to the business at Victoria Eden. I used to visit the Secret Craving's loaction among many others and the list of wonderful memories will for ever be mine.
Can I put a dollar value on these memories??

Now this whole issue of rates. I agree chemistry is everything and no amount of $$ will get you that. You need to do your shopping around and decide which girl/rate yyou wanna pick. I look at his hobby as a way of entertainment and I have a certain budget I spend. Certain girls I have seen before have lost my business as they have raised their rates more than I am willing to pay.

To me 270 an hour is more than I will pay and 350, well I better get dinner and drinks with that lol.

All seriousness here the girls in vic are wonderful but you all can decide to spend or not spend what you decide. If that affects those raising their rates then they will change. If not and they do well, good on them. It just will not be at the support on my wallet. I mean I have often wanted to see Mia again but will not bring myself to pay the required $$$ and that is my choice as much as it is hers to charge what she wants. I have seen a few ladies that have gotten my business recently when I easily would have seen other girls but their rates where raised more than what I had paid those same girls in the past for the same services.

So if we all make our choice to pay a rate or to not pay a certain rate that is a personal thing and all the chit chat about crazy rates will not change a thing.

No remeber lets keep this hobby affordable and let the ladies make a living...

I charge 300 for the hour and I never had some one not happy. only if they are not good looking or have some thing that makes them very attractive or I'm not in to them but I guss they are the one that are never happy and write bad rievews about girls. 350 is not to much if the girl is beautiful.

As a Calgary consumer, my take is, as always, what the market will bare and what the market is sensitive to. If you look at Calgary, Van, Toronto,etc., the big city markets are between 3 and 3.5 per hour. I do not consider Vic as a big market city economically, certainly not like the cash available in the other 3. That said, will the market accept the higher end pricing? As indicated above, the girls in Vic ARE EXCEPTIONAL for the current rates and I think the consumer is winning here. HOWEVER, if $$ go up, calls may go down and net take might suffer as well. Bottom line, if you start to tinker with prices in a market that won't take it, you are going to start to kill the goose that's laying the golden eggs. Would I come to Vic if the same rates were charged in Calgary? No. Right now, I can fly to Vic for a weekend, enjoy a Friday night, Saturday afternoon and Sat. evening before flying back to YYC. This market would be lost if significant price increases occur. Can the local market pick it up? Who knows. How big is the incoming market? Don't know that one either.

Bottom line, I do not believe that Vic is a big market city, even though the overhead for the girls/agencies is going up with the real estate boom happening. Don't start killing the goose, let it keep laying the golden eggs, and be careful about pushing it too hard. It may get sick.

Are upscale providers worth the extra $$$? Hook has it

I've watched this thread with some interest but waited until now to join in. That goddess, Jaime Lane had a very nice point in her post on this subject, a page ago. In her case one also enjoys upscale premises! Very fine. The dear lady may have recently raised her touring rates, and with reason. Ferries,
gasoline, and accomodations are all up. Bless her heart, when she raised her incall rates here in Victoria, she grandfathered her regulars who had made her list before the 15th of this month. Talk about a desirable list to be on. With business smarts like that it's easy to see why she has made it to star status. Such savvy in one so young! But I digress.
A charming lady told me today that one of her dates had no-showed her this morning because her neighbors at the location had worried him. Maybe it's my age, but I find nothing intimidating about walking up to any address in this city, notoriety notwithstanding. If some clown wishes to intervene, in speech or body language, I can reply in kind. Old age and treachery will overcome youth and skill. It's a comment on our times, perhaps, but most "men of the world" are too young to realize that since our ancestors lived in caves, there have always been addresses with undeserved reputations, and they usually have stunning ladies within.

I tried a short session once with a lady I didn't have any intel on: she was cool but the session sucked. I've never booked less than an hour since and usually 2 hours. In my experience, the price paid has had little bearing on the quality of the session though, as my budget has definite limits, I'm less likely to try out ladies at the higher end of the rate scale unless their reviews really stir a strong interest in me.

Easy to see that this topic has been understandably a source of aggravation for sex workers forever.

It is not reasonable for any client to expect GFE-quality service in 1/2 hour. The 2 concepts are not mutually compatible, as GFE implies something of a relaxed relationship and exchange.
