I am surprised that someone like you isn't up to date on the unwritten rules and etiquette in this business, but then again we are on an escort review site where sometimes common courtesy is non existent. You are a perb legend and someone with a few handles in their history and an interest in staying somewhat low key nowadays which I understand completely and respect. If that means you cannot review girls then it may be a good idea to get yourself another handle like you have done before for whatever reason. You are respected here and your reviews mean something and in the past you have been treated well by certain girls and without being asked to you would review and shower with compliments and increase the business of girls which is great of you and very beneficial as well. I can think of three girls who lowered their rate for you time and time again, providing you with unmatchable service and generosity regarding time and in turn you reviewed with glowing comments and positive analysis. That is fair and lucky for you cuz not all dudes get that lowered rate. Fortunately you helped to launch the careers in the business for a few ladies and I bet they appreciate but now what?

You are interested in being discreet cuz maybe you have a gf now, thats fair but why not review still? You can get another handle, you can quietly let the trusted people know who you are, and you could still provide the board with your helpful and honest reviews as you did before. It only makes sense since you still call and call and when you do have a session you are still VIP with the cut rate you've been enjoying for years. Yet you don't review the girls? It is especially rude to not take into consideration the obvious fact that a gal you see is trying to get back onto the scene as noticeably as you helped put her there at the start of her career. She posts every day and you see her once and then no review. I know she didn't give you lousy service because she doesn't ever yet she doesn't deserve a glowing report to help her with her business? It is clear that she is making an effort to work, possibly she has a goal she'd like to reach or something. She deserves the props and comments which generate an interest in her so why do you indulge in your vip rate and then do not post a helpful review of her? I think that is rude. Then you have the nerve to call and call and call her when she posts an ad.
Did you wonder why she didn't answer? Now you know.

my take fwiw

Some famous perb stud gets deals for giving good reviews and thereby ensures the success of the sp's he writes about. He's still getting the deals but not writing the reviews therefore an sp is not getting the career boost for the special rates.... or it could be something else entirely. :p

Perhaps I am confused....

Just because a gentleman asks for a discount doesn't mean that the lady should grant him one.

Also, I do not feel that gentlemen should be obligated to write a review about someone. If they feel like sharing, then let them.

It would seem from your post that your friend gave this person a discount in order to get a good review. How objective can a review actually be if there is a financial incentive.

Also, by publicly stating that your friend bribes clients into giving her a good review brings into question the legitimacy of all reviews on escort review boards. Can reviews actually be objective if there is a price incentive?

If your friend cannot get a positive review without resorting to bribery then maybe she shouldn't be in the business.

does she ever cease to entertain???

I-Hate-My-Skirt provides PERB with a constant stream of attitude-seeped posts. Get a life girly. You are successfully making an ass of yourself. Reputation self-destruction seems almost concluded. Take a step back, take a deep breath and THINK IT THROUGH before you hit the keyboard.

Between the legs of a HOT SP!!
Well, at least she

used punctuation. Can you imagine if it was just one long rambling sentance with no punctuation what soever? It would be even more of a shit show than it looks to be. Where the hell did people go to school to learn that? Dumbing down of the world I guess. On a postive note the spelling is pretty good, point for that at least.

Don't even know who she is rambling on about............

Hmm sounds like Shilling! (gone wrong)

Sounds like free advertising for a discount, shilling by definition (is it not?) :D Except now there's trouble in paradise :(

I think the bottom line is she or some SP wants a "returned" favor of a "positive" review from one of her regular clients whom she gave discounts to. She was hoping that his review would help attract more clients. I think her client is quite well known in these boards and when he writes reviews, everyone trusts him, leading to more horny customers. :p

Speaking for myself about the "unwritten rule" of posting reviews, I only post if I had a blast with my session. :D I am just the type who can't write a negative review unless I felt ripped off.

Maybe that guy has a similar attitude. Just my guess. :)

There is spell check, HELLO. Try making a valid remark or opinion instead of bitchy chirping and insults towards me. Clearly how you and hubbahubba feel about my skirt really makes no diff to me. I was always scared of clowns anyhow. Furthermore, why are u calling a very respected reviewer a shill, is that what it is? Then all of his reviews are really not relevant correct? What is real anymore?

just as much as being ripped off rates a negative review. But some one writing reviews in exchange for benefits is a conflict of interest.
We all need to look hard at the reviews and ask ouselves if the person writing is an English major with a great imagination, or a real pooner who gets to the business at hand and gives a beleiveable report.
I agree. I take all reviews with a grain of salt. Some girls live up to their reviews, some certainly don't. With the amount of $ at stake, I am not shocked at the amount of shills, reviews from friends, and otherwise induced testimonials. The ratings scale is a subjective barometer at best, and even the most sketchy overpriced SP with a questionable rep has some mark who thinks what they have is special, and will defend/otherwise promote her to no end. I would never see a non-reviewed SP, but it's still always a gamble.

Actually I guess I wasn't clear. No bribing took place. The pooner on the hot seat actually made HUGE efforts to help her with her business without even seeing her first via perb. The details are unimportant and not mine to spill but I assure you, he did a big part in launching her and thouroughly enjoyed her company many times. She is not the type to bribe or be underhanded and from what she tels me, she was surprised by his efforts and appreciated it genuinely thus his cut rate was well deserved at that time. Theres nothng wrong with that and it is not called shilling or bribing. I know a lot of girls who give the regulars a better rate, so what thats up to them. My point is that he is ignoring obvious etiquette and I wonder if he knows it.

ummm, that is exactly what shilling is. From wikipedia:
Shills on the Internet
In online discussion media, satisfied consumers, or “innocent” parties may express specific opinions in order to further the interests of an organization in which they have an interest, such as a commercial vendor or special-interest group. Websites may also be set up for the same purpose. For example, an employee of a company that produces a specific product may praise the product anonymously in a discussion forum or group in order to generate interest in that product, service, or group.

...I know a lot of girls who give the regulars a better rate, so what thats up to them. My point is that he is ignoring obvious etiquette and I wonder if he knows it.
If the discount wasn't in return for shilling, then she had nothing to complain about. Was she not, as you put it, giving the discretionary discount because he was a regular?

Please enlighten me...

My point is that he is ignoring obvious etiquette and I wonder if he knows it.
What etiquette?

Do you mean running to the closest keyboard and telling strangers intimate details about private encounters?

But if he paid for it, doesn't that change things?

What etiquette?

I'd say then it's a service, and not a private encounter anymore and that makes this board like a consumer review or secret shopper type thing, which helps gurantee good service by allowing hobbyists the chance to make informed descions when spending their money on SPs or Escorts, instead of TOFTT on bad service providers. Just my 2 cents :D

Well, then from what you're saying, this reviewer has already done his part in getting the word out there about this lady and her service. And, from what we've all seen on these forums, if one reviewer continues to herald the services of one provider over and over again, that reviewer will be decried as a shill and all of his previous reviews will also be called into question. While I can see and understand what you're saying in these posts, Dru, I have to tell you that I think it would be a "lose-lose" situation for both the reviewer and your friend.

Ahh foolish me thinking this thread was going to be a freindly reminder to shower and brush your teeth before your appointment....
Oh crap!

Note to self... must... shower.... then... brush... my teeth... before... a-p-p-o-i-n-t-m-e-n-t. There! Wrote it down! Any more etiquettes I should remember? :p

Just fooling around! :D But hey, we can still talk about the other etiquettes since it falls under the heading. ;) On the lighter side.....

Should I shave my balls and trim the pubic hair too? :D
