How does one unblock calls in Canada? From the US, I would start my dialing with *82, but it doesn't seem to work from here - maybe 'cause I'm roaming...

Some cell companies don't let you unblock on a per call basis
Landlines can always be unlocked with *82 - however, some providers (Rogers Included) won't let you unblock your cell if you choose to have it permanently private. It will work the other way though, in that if you choose to display your number by default, you can block calls on a per call basis.
