I am a little surprised at how the thread on the one who shall not be named was closed considering that there was a post from one moderator:

patience, please.

The topic is being discussed among us.

Three posts later the thread is closed by a different Moderator

I fully understand that not everyone on here wants to see Sydnee back on the board and that is not even the issue... The specific questions that were not answered are ones that numerous people on the board would like to see answered:

As long as this info is confined to those categories and not obvious advertising, it's allowed. Why not on PERB?

I've asked this question several times in posts and PMs to mods. I've never received an answer. Strange!!

With all due respect, any chance of getting an answer to the questions we asked? They seem to have been overlooked again.

I do not believe that as members of PERB that we are being unreasonable in our requests, all we have done is ask for clarification.

Seeing as this was posted prior to the weekend, I wanted to ensure it doesn't get lost.

I hope we will see an answer to the outstanding questions shortly.

Thank You

Where to start?

Well, one reason that nobody has replied is likely that there is limited interest in this topic, just a few vocal pooners.

Another could be is that most realize that re posting a locked thread is pretty much the same as re posting a deleted thread and want to stay away from it, but more on that later.

Simply put, this is not the concern of pooners, but is an issue between the mods and the PAYING SP's. If you are not paying, then the only reason you would be concerned about this topic is that you are trying to get some unpaid advertising out of it, if your are a pooner with an interest in this you are likely white knighting for one of your favourites.

GB, what makes you think that re-posting a locked thread is any better than re-posting a deleted thread? I am sure you knew that you would get banned for this and just wanted to stir things up some more, so fine, you are banned for twice the duration of your last ban, which I believe was one month, so you are now up to two months - do this again and it will be permanent.

The question that has been asked has been asked and answered several times and it is tiring to answer the same question over and over, especially from a forum that continuously cries that it wants no mod intervention and wants as little to do with the mods as possible.

Here is the answer again and for the last time.

Each board is moderated independently of the others. If you check them out you will see that they look different and have different features. What happens on one board will not necessarily happen on another.

Put simply the PERB ladies seem to have a more finely developed business acumen than their TERB and MERB counter parts. The PERB ladies campaigned aggressively and successfully for the current advertising rules. Their case was simple. Why pay to advertise when an unpaid advertiser can put their phone number, weblink, pictures, and a description of their services in their profile and/or signature? The answer is simple, it would make no sense to pay to advertise if this could be done for free.

To say that some of these things could be done, but not others, would still have the same result and make things impossible to monitor. So get off the kick, unless you pay to advertise, don't advertise, it isn't that hard to comprehend.

THIS QUESTION WILL NOT BE ANSWERED AGAIN AND THE DECISION IS NOT UP FOR DEBATE.
