Ugly X-Mas Sweater back with Vengeance

I guess the hipsters and my Grandma have finally found some common ground. They both appear to have an explained fondness of ugly X-Mas sweaters.

I was out shopping for Christmas gifts and I was attacked by several vendors at West Edmonton Mall and Southgate Shopping center. I was in Calgary a week ago and my God, there must have have been 7 vendors selling ugly Christmas sweaters in that mall. Just nuts.

I'll confess there was a hot brunette with a french accent that did manage to lure me in for a look at her ugly snowman sweater with strategically placed 3-D carrots popping out in all the right places. She was walking taking sexual harassment suit waiting to happen in that pointy little sweater and wasn't about to pass that opportunity up.

So my cousin that borrowed something valuable from me without asking will be the proud new owner of the ugliest X-Mas sweater a very small amount of money could buy. No iPad for you buddy.

Now I just gotta figure out if there are any other relatives on my naughty list that deserve the best gift $7.95 can buy.

Has anyone else bought into the ugly sweater hipster trend that seems to be hitting the malls this year?

I bought my kids a set of batteries with a note on it, "Toys Not Included."

8 years ago I saw an ad on craigslist from someone looking for one of these. I contacted him and said I had one. He drove from the west-end to Surrey and gave me $100.00.

It was a present I got from one of my siblings 20 years ago, wore it once and stuck it in the bottom of a drawer till I sold it.
