U-bicycle

Has anyone else used U-bicycle, or more importantly tried to get your deposit back? I joined in 2017 but this year I realized I wasn't really using the service so I decided to have my deposit returned. It's been three months and nothing! I am trying to file a complaint with the BBB but they need a local address or local phone number to file one.

The only address I could find was one at Marine Gateway, but the BBB said its not legit. If anyone can give me some advice or can find the address somehow I would greatly appreciate it.

It does say on the website "one-time refundable deposit."
Maybe you got the refund from them when you used the bike and they applied the money you put for deposit and didn't charge you.
Just a though......

I am sure you followed the steps in the agreement...

Cancellation and Termination
You may cancel your Account at any time through the web interface provided as part of the Platform. Cancellation must be issued via your web interface or via UBike’s support addresses. Any cancellation issued to the web interface must be done at least five (5) business day prior to the end of the term of your then-current Subscription Period. This is the only way to cancel your Account and you will not be provided with a refund, in whole or in part, of any pre-paid amount. Email requests or phone requests to cancel your Account will not be accepted.
