The simp/domme culture plays out right in the open. Different strokes but to me that shit is really exploitation.
I don't have a Twitter account, or facebook, or anything else like that, including no tiktok or Instagram.
But what is shadow banning?

Shadowbanning is a type of ban on your account where you do not directly know that you have been banned. This is pretty common on Twitter and mostly online dating apps.
In normal ban cases, they message you saying your account has been banned and you are not able to use the account anymore. Others won't be able to see your account anymore either.
But when you are shadowbanned, you can interact with your account and keep using it as normal without knowing that in background they have decided to hide your account. So you feel like everything is normal but others don't see your account anymore and can't interact with you.

Sex work is work and it's a business and it's fascinating to watch the way some providers market themselves via twitter. I think it's hard to use a single account as both a marketing tool and as a way to express yourself as the person behind the business. I know this personal branding is a common thing in social media but it seems more difficult to navigate in the world of sex work.
All that being said, and to return to the topic in the OP, with Elon buying Twitter who knows where it's going. Always a safe bet to mitigate your risks by advertising on a multitude of platforms and channels. Good luck to all providers who have to deal with Twitter

Shadow banning has been happening to sex workers on Twitter for years, long before Elon got involved. And it's still a pretty dick move IMO.
However I wonder if the targets of the practice have changed since he got his fingers into things? I suspect his buddies in the lunatic fringe don't have to worry about it as much any more.

Elon is just playing everyone. He's moved on to becoming the owner of Twitter in a convenient time when his tesla cars are proving to be an unsuitable, overpriced gimmick, with problems
And you should ask a staff of one of the few Tesla authorized auto body shops in your area what they think of the quality of their parts and speed of delivery . It corroborates your statement

I can only speak for myself, but it hadn't even crossed my mind to search twitter for an SP.

Twitter isn’t my first stop in an SP search but it can be useful. If a girl is on Twitter, as opposed to just an ad on LL or here, it’s just an extra layer of confirmation to see if the she‘s real and not a scammer. Two years on Twitter and two postings? Scam. Only retweets other SP’s and never post anything about herself? suspicious.
It can also give a bit if an insight into their personality, sexual preferences and services. Finally in most cases the pictures she posts on twitter are usually selfies, often newer (although not always) and not just the pro photographer pics often in ads and websites.
As an added bonus you can get an idea of their friends in the industry, and girls who do duos will often mention them and their preferred partners on their Twitter feeds.
Just as an example Erika Bowes in Toronto @posthumanpusxy expresses a lot of her what I’ve mentioned above on Twitter, and none of the client bashing bullshit some guys have mentioned some SP’s do. When I see that kind of stuff I’m not likely to pursue anything with the SP. Erika on the other hand …..

I was hesitant to make a twitter but it has been great for my business. It adds a layer of confirmation and it’s a great way for clients to see my personality! I’ve gotten quite a few bookings from just having a Twitter. However, like most platforms it’s hard to not get hit with shadowbans and I don’t even want to get into Elon LOL
I have a twitter account ( same handle name as here) and out of all the ladies I am following. I've lost only 1.
Nudity and porn seem to be allowed on Twitter. I personally don’t post any nudity on my Twitter, and never have. I honestly think SW accounts are being deleted because you’re technically not supposed to solicit on Twitter. But I honestly don’t think Elon knows what he’s doing with running Twitter, and there have been a lot of technical issues with the platform too.
Tryst is banned from twitter that’s why. Do not mention tryst at all! Use acronym like G or T*yst. And never link your Tryst profile
