In softness, strength.
Caught the new rendition of Twilight Zone tonite on its remake debut.
It was alright but had me automatically comparing it to the original as probably anyone else
who has seen reruns would have done the same I would imagine.

I found both episodes to be more or less predictive to a fault and the black fella who played
the Rod Serling implant was completely not believable in his roll as same.

I don't know but I think the makers could have done a better job with a bit more creativity
in trying better to make it more of the same as before. However that would be done i have
no idea but it sure would have made the show more believeable for myself as I was a great
Twilight Zone fan from the original.

The second episode was better in that it had more suspense wrapped around it like the
original copy which starred William Shatner. That was a freaky episode where this one
was more to the main actor just being paranoid of everyone else due to a podcast.

For those of you who picked up on the new Twilight Zone tonight please chime in with your
thoughts.
I will watch it a couple more times to see if it improves or not but for sure
I'm waiting impatiently for the 2nd season of Project Bluebook.
That show for me was spectacular and hands down has beaten Twilight zone to a
perverbial pulp.

I'll have to reserve judgment, too, as I only saw a part of the final episode.

I recognized the plot, but idn't see enough to understand this version. I did notice the production values seemed very good, which is to be expected.

The black Rod Serling, is Jordan Peele, who is producing or directing the new TZ. He didn't have the necessary tone to carry off his part, l thought.

I thought the new TZ would be all new scripts, or are they re-telling original shows?

Just went to IMDB to read viewer comments, and it looks like 3 episodes have been aired, and all appear to have been mediocre.

No comments make me want to even bother downloading them.

I think any episode of Black Mirror will probably be better than the new TZ.

The host is also the show runner, as it was with Rod Serling. He's Jordan Peele, the guy behind the movies Us and Get Out (and Keanu, to go outside the genre). And of course he was half the comedy duo of Key & Peele. Can't comment on the quality of the episodes yet myself. It's on my DVR.

I saw the 1st 2 episodes. I'm hooked, great actors in it and even more to come in its upcoming episodes.
