My 6 yo 50 in plasma LG decided to commit suicide last night by not powering on after 10 tries or so. Given how ridiculous it would be to try and repair (unless someone has a really cheap and effortless suggestion), I've spent the morning reading reviews and made a quick stop at both Torture Shop and Costco.
I am leaning towards the Sharp Aquos 70 inch LC70C6400. The only feature I'm really set on is internet connectivity (smart). Ive also looked at the Costco US sites and see something called a Vizio for $700 less than what you can get the similar TV for here. I live in a condo and I'm sure that the 70' is probably a tad too big but Im in love and with the smart feature porn and sports will just be awesome.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
