I'm not saying she sounds like a tool for being an atheist or for performing well on a standardized test. What makes her a tool is grandstanding about these things.

I'm an atheist, but I don't go on about it. And as an atheist, I know that there is no actual doctrinal requirement to wear a kitchen implement on your head for your driver's licence photo. So why did she do it? Grandstanding about her atheism. And how does the newspaper find out about it to report on it? Clearly it's because she called them up: grandstanding part deux. It's not like the media are scanning all the licence photos to find good stories.

And when they talk to her about it, how do you suppose they found out that she's in Mensa? Because she made sure to tell them, as if that were somehow relevant to or validated her grandstanding. Credit where it's due, that's a double whammy on the attention seeking front.

well, all things considered, she's the first one in all of Utah to go through with the DL. That, in all likelihood, is what triggered the report on a slow news day. There is no reference as to whom alerted the media.

I was making more of a "book / cover" reference.

everyone gets a high score on online iq tests so that they will order a certificate that states it. It is unethical to relay the exact iq score to the taker. Only a range or percentile is suggested.
