Actually a boned stuffed Turkey is a really convenient way to serve turkey. I don't stuff mine with other birds, I just buy a couple of Turkey Breasts and put them in the portion of the Turkey that would have little meat otherwise. I also make a stuffing that is heavy on chopped nuts, cooked grains and diced dried fruit. (if you don't cook the grains, you make cement - not stuffing)

The lighter portions of the meal come from the vegetables and side dishes, so the Turkey can be heavy and protein rich.
Can I eat at your house?

Thanks for the big laugh Al. I've worked with multi-grain cement before. You could build fallout shelters with that stuff!

i have made this once as well takes a lot of time skill and effort on your part end result was amazing so if u dont have all day to bone out birds u can buy them in the store already made i myself still prefer smoked turkeys but they also take alot of time to do as well

I helped cooked one a couple years back. But it was all premade at the butcher shop.
Some place south of the Granville bridge I recall.
Was expensive like $100-$150 or something, but was all free range birds.
Cooked faster than a regular turkey with stuffing.

It was good, but not something I'd get again, turkey meat gets a little dry
