Germany is currently suffering a stagnant economy and the government's tax coffers are running low. So where do they turn to grab some fast cash?

Well, prostitution is legal in Germany, and is a big industry. 1.2 million served daily. Need I say more.

Change the holidays quota.

Germans get about 6 weeks of holidays per year. If they turned it into say North American style 2 weeks of holidays per year, then the extra work would (should) translate into more economic output and more of a tax base.
Us Canadians would be really shocked (and in revolt) if we knew how much holidays our Germans, and European, friends really get.

If you want European style holdidays, I heard that you need to work for BC Ferries, apparently many have 9 weeks of holidays per year
