Justin Trudeau has his daddy’s name (which got him the PM gig) but his mommy’s brain (which is why he will be a one term wonder). He has the intellectual capacity of Donald Trump.

You had me until the last sentence. This may be damning with faint praise, but Trudeau can actually consistently speak in sentences and is comfortable with multiple syllables. Trudeau is disingenuous, but deliberate. Trump just seems to be making it up as he goes along with little reflection. The former may not be better, but it does require a bit more brain power.

Perhaps rather than "... the intellectual capacity of Donald Trump.", it should have been "... a Trump-like understanding of how the world works." They both see the world from the perspective of people who have spent their entire lives in advantaged positions. Trudeau's response is more sophisticated than Trump's, but his understanding seems to be about the same.

The thing with Trump is, he claims to be a self made man.....which is complete BS, he grew up in a billionaires household, and was backed by Daddies money to start all his failed ventures.
I suppose we are all supposed to forget that.
Justin just avoids talking about his trust fund, privileged lifestyle, and it wasn't necessary for him to risk anything before taking office.....and it is my opinion he has never had to deal with failure, until right now.

It is my opinion that he may have had to deal with failure growing up, every human being does, but he has never had to deal with any great level of responsibility, and now, he is trying to run a nation with all of the complexity that involves. He is doing very poorly at that.

Doesn't this sound misogynous at all, since you mentioned respect for feminists? Or was it meant to make fun of her decease? Despite which, she seems to have functioned quite well.

If Justin is lacking respect for women, it is something that he would more likely get from his father, not his mother.

I was assuming it was a vague reference to mental illness, not mysogyny. She was diagnosed as bipolar.

I thought some might see it as misogynistic but it has nothing to do with women in general and everything to do with Margaret Trudeau in particular. In my opinion, Trudeau senior was a very bright guy and Maggie was a hopeless airhead dilettante. Justin never would have made it as PM without his daddy’s name. Justin is an intellectual lightweight though.

you haven't been paying enough attention to what he says

Trudeau isn't any smarter

look at what Kenney said about him basically being stupid

no one disagreed, they all came out and said that was uncalled for, mean, but no one came out and disputed his statement that Trudeau was too simple to handle complex files

Trump and Trudeau are way more similar than they are different

they are just different shades of dumb
