As for the playoffs, they will probably lose in the second round. Definitely not a cup contender this year, but nobody expected them to be.

Actually ~ it was funny to see how easily the CH's took the bait.

CH's were so unrealistic with their assessments (i.e. Luongo being a playoff proven goalie) and seem to take pride in lowered expectations (i.e. but we won first place again). At least Calgary and Edmonton went all the way to the finals in recent years.

All we do is get bitch-slapped in the second round. We lose to Minnesota in Game 7 (after being up 3-1). We cannot score in losing to Anaheim. We cannot defend or keep a lead in losing to Chicago.

hey dude, half of the so-called fans here wouldn't know where the above players even played for, let alone which team...so me bad for not knowing their nicknames, since I'm not a habs fan...

I just know when a team's overrated like the Nucks, and conveniently point that out to the delirious, senseless fans in this city, it's much more pleasurable to see their pain, agony and disappointment at how the season ended.

To see the kids cry, the girlfriends who go there to watch the game, their BF's wondering what a waste of $$$ to watch the Nucks, that's what makes it so satisfying They cry, they whine how the Nucks should've won the series, should've won Game 4, woulda, shoulda, coulda....

feels like Xmas in May ...

you know, the Steve Bernier who averaged 13 goals a season, but as soon as he was signed by the Canfunks he was pencilled in for 30-35 goals ...

at least by the very hockey astute media in Vancouver ...

as luck would have it, he just fell short of that by about 15-20 goals...

in fact I think there were only 150+ forwards who had more goals than him...

but he is coming off a career high 32 points...

so yea, it's definitely a blockbuster signing...

on a side note...

according to the Vancouver Sun, so it has to be true , the Canfunks' fat ugly owner is trying to buy and bring the Indiana Pacers to Vancouver...

what a first class major league sports city...

in fact I'm going to make a prediction right now that the Vancouver Pacers and the Toronto Raptors will meet in next year's NBA Final...

But I guess in coming into a Vancouver forum and busting on the Canucks, your team must be winning the cup this year. It is strange though that your team would be a US based team though because those are the only ones remaining in the chase.

Then again, you may be a fan for a Canadian based team and they are making great decisions but just purposely decided to lose in an early round.

I am not sure. It just seems strange to take so much time out to labor in posting against a team when it is unlikely your favorite team is doing much better.

But then again, as I stated before, you may be a fan of of the US based teams remaining.

Oh no, his team IS the Canucks. He goes to games, cheers for the team and so on, he just doesn't like other people cheering for them, doesn't like the players, doesn't want the team to do well, doesn't want people saying anything positive about them, doesn't like their past, doesn't like their future and doesn't like the fans.
