But a frikkin 747? That's just a bit excessive by any standard, save the sultan of Brunei.

I think in any other case it would seem excessive but John Travolta's biggest passion according to him is flying. He pilots all of his aircraft. A couple of years back I remember he was certified with Quantas as a commercial pilot for 747s. Obviously he doesn't do this for the work or paycheck. It's quite amazing really.

He has made a ton of money & deserves to enjoy his wealth.
