Are they taking advantage of an opportunity to do a lot better than they could in their homeland? Sure.
Do they do a good job? Most that travel here do, but i would suspect the only the trusted ones would be sent "on the road".
Is their "job" here one that they would choose otherwise? I don't think so.
Is there a reason they have a 10 day limit in each city? I don't think they want any attachments happening.
Can we compare their circumstances to Canadian born SP's? Not even close.
Time off? I have asked in different ways, and have never found one that had been able to do "tourist" things. I would guess that when they are "sick" or unavailable, its due to a monthly visitor, or they are physically unable to work. I have had one visit where the lady should not have been working, but she was toughing it out. Wasn't the most pleasant experience, with her stopping to blow her nose every few minutes.
