Traditional ads vs. Social media

Twitter, like Facebook and instagram collect a lot about you, and if you use the app they even track your location. Even if you have two twitter accounts, one for you, and one for pooning, it is very simple to link those through the posts and meta data collected. On your phone it is even worse because they can cross reference with your texts and contacts. Never use social media for anything you are not willing to tell your mother in front of the police while a news camera crew is filming it.

When looking for companions, do you use social media (Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.) in your search? Why or why not?

I use Twitter, and as an SP I think it has some big advantages, which I and others have previously discussed in this forum:

- less likelihood of fake photos and fake SPs

- new pictures almost daily, and most are recent

- you can gage the SP's personality

- you can develop a bit of a relationship online before meeting in real life

- you don't need an account to browse a lady's profile

- but if you do have an account, you can discover lots of new SPs, as Twitter's algorithms will suggest new ladies to you based on the ones you already follow (I've met lots of great ladies this way)

And yet I still find there's some hesitation among a large segment of PERB members to use Twitter as a tool in discovering new ladies. Why is that?

I personally can find new Ladies, I may want to persue, right here on PERB . Most legitimate Ladies, have at some Point in their Careers, advertised here on PERB ?

Social Media for Me, potentially, puts Ladies in my Backyard ?

I would rather avoid that !

I don't want my S.O., crossing Paths ?

That's the Problem IMHO, with Social Media !

It makes a small World, even smaller ?

I've met some great Ladies, through their PERB Advertisements .
And I've persued meeting Them, because of the interaction They have had on the Board, including Yourself !

I've also steered away from others, because of the same interaction, and the Reviews others I have faith in have made .

It's pretty much, all here in a Nutshell !

I can honestly say, I've never had a less than satisfying Experience, with any Lady I've met off of PERB !

But, They're not going to be, the most thrifty a proposition ?
An Expense, I'm willing to accept !

My latest Dalliance, was discovered on PERB .
Although, She maintains, a low profile on the Board .
But, through our Emails, I got some great insight into her Personality .
Combine that, with her PERB Reviews, and I knew I was on the right Track !

Twitter for Me, has too much BS to filter through, before I discover any pertinent Information ?
That might help Me, make a Decision .

Sure, the current Pictures, are a nice Feature !
But, They're too much of a Pain in the Ass, to View .

Almost every Lady, I would possibly see, has her own Website !

Combine all that, and I'm good !

I’ve heard from an SP that twitter generally brings younger and more tech savvy clients to them via twitter. Where as perb, Eros and LL bring in more of the older crowd / time wasters

Ok, I have a few questions in regards to Twitter:

1) If I follow someone on twitter, can anyone else that does not also follow that person on twitter see that I do so?

2) If I post a reply to a tweet, who sees my reply?

3) If someone Googles my name, will they possibly find 1) and/or 2) above?

As you can guess from my questions, I would prefer that my family, friends and work associates no know that I follow or respond to tweets from an SP. If that makes me a hypocrite, I can live with that

It is best to just create an account under an alias, even use your perb handle. This way you are discrete and friends, family etc. won't know your associations with SP's...

I haven't been on twitter for long. But I have really started to enjoy the ease I can connect to other ladies that other platforms don't allow for. And it's nice to show more of my personality too as that is a challenge with ads.... T xx

I think Google, is in the same Boat ?

It's One of the Reasons, I got rid of my Gmail, pooning Email Account !
It ties, all your Contacts, loosely together ?

A scary thought...

I don't want to, live in an Apartment, right now ! LOL
