I expected a bit more from Benning on the trade deadline. If Matthias, Dorset or Richardson who are pending UFA'S haven't been resigned, I figured either of the three would be traded for some draft picks in 2015 as it is suppose to be a very deep draft.
I know we picked up Sven Baertschi who was a first rounder four years ago and we gave up a second rounder for him in 2015. If he can't play in Calgary, will a change of scenery make him that much of a difference? We already have project type of players on our hands like Kassian, Vey and Markstrom.
