Not those kind of toys, silly…
I need to down size. Don’t ask me why but I kept a few of my childhood toys. I don’t think they are particularly rare or unusual but they are (now) really old. I would like to get some advice on what to do with them but I have no clue how to proceed. I have about 20 redline hotwheels, a Merlin, a Hasbro Amazo-Matic and a couple of die cast tractors. All date back to the late 60’s early 70’s.
I appreciate your input.

ebay, kijiji ads. Google the toys first online to see if they are valuable. Check the more populated cities, might be more collectors there.
2nd hand shop/Pawn shop.

Check them out before getting rid of them. You never know, someone might be prepared to pay to add to their collection.

Ebay. Best thing ever for downsizing.
Watch other items the same as yours for a while to get an idea of what they sell for.
“Buy it now” is easiest, just post your ad and forget.
You can block buys who are idiots or tire kickers.
Ive sold lots of stuff for maybe not top dollar but just to get rid of it. It’s become a hobby in itself.

When the 2nd ex got the big house, I did a fairly major purge and amongst the various things were a couple toys I had completely forgotten and why I still had them is still a mystery. Anyway, I had a full on metal John Deere tractor and trailer, wheels, axles, steering wheel all working and a couple of the 1/24 scale metal cars, a mid 50's Porsche and similar vintage Mercedes gull wing, again all parts working. Did an eBay gig and ended up netting over $500 for the lot. No idea people would pay that kind of money!! That got me going on Craigslist, Kijji, eBay and now I understand Facebook Marketplace is where its at to move your shit.
Clean them up. Take really good pix, get a good feeling for what others are selling similar things for, list and you will sell all this. Fun if you have the time.
Good luck!
