I use to like bugging the shit out of you InTheBum beacuse I thought some of your statements have been in very poor taste. I'm not here to do that anymore though. Hubba is turning over a new leaf and is here to help and be a little more understanding..

I don't mind you bugging the shit out of me...I actually find it amusing to say the least...hence, my comments in poor taste are intended to get the blood flowing if perb seems dull and bland.

HHHHmmmm... what would make me happy? Pretty easy to answer...a few million in the bank and big swinging penis!!!!

In the last few months I had to sell off my car, now using transit- the shittiest transit I've ever used in my life, 100 % unreliable. Bus drivers would pass by the bus stop wtf!!!!! People coughing and not covering their damn mouths when they cough!!! Anyways... I hear ya Little asian guy.... I have a second job right now, still it's not enough (no thanks to the damn government) man am I tired, we bought our home 4 years ago-shitty house to me, it's decent, but shitty to me, it's small and condition could be better and plus too overpriced. I'm in my mid forties now, my wife and I have considered moving back to Toronto, but it's the shitty summer/winter weather and the shitty attitude that's stopping us from moving back.
I would like to rent our basement, but we don't have enough money to renovate- We're stuck.
We have friends wanting to move out here, but we told them you're better off staying where you are!

Hey LAG, you bitch about how it sucks here, but then say "Oh, no, I couldn't move - I like it here too much." Which is it? Guess what - houses are expensive here because lots of people like it here. That's called a market driven economy.

Anybody who thinks this town is a god-awful shithole has the glorious Canadian luxury of moving. Choosing to live here means choosing to live in an area with sky-high house prices. Deal with it.

Gawd, I hate people who whine just for the sake of it, but given a choice would choose to keep exactly what they are whining about.

But you gotta admit everyone that this place is often totally miserable during winter. Its just not normal for so much clouds and rain. I got no money to leave, yes for those who no clue its takes money to leave a place.

Of course it's normal. Here.

I grew up in Vancouver. For me, the climate is perfectly normal. If I spend a long time in some other place with day after day of sparkling sunshine, it starts to get me down after a while.

Take a look at New Brunswick for inexpensive real estate, and a beautiful province to boot - and there are jobs there.

Have some friends who are still living at home cause life is rough in bc. Im in my mid 30s and my savings would probably buy a crappy apartment somewhere in surrey
True that LittleAsianGuy, true that. The price of an average condo/townhouse (let alone an old house) in Vancouver is out of the reach for the average Vancouverite. Even if you are a working professional, it is extremely tough. For young couples nowadays (assuming you are not in debt from student loans) , owning even a townhouse, you have to go to the burbs like Survey. It is tough indeed in this generation. And it is a bit ironic - it is a tough life in BC, yet we poon - which is a VERY, VERY expensive hobby.
