I buy music if the artist has a store with mp3's and direct downloads.
I don't buy CD's any more or use apples itunes.

Easiest solution for me is using the website Flv2mp3. You simply copy and paste the url of a Youtube link that you would like to rip the audio from and BOOM you've got the MP3... Faster and easier solution to torrents

Ohh, so you are another guy with selective recognition of a the law...... I guess... pooning is fully legal, or you would not be here ...... or maybe you are here looking just for friends?

..... read the comments regarding this law. In Canada, it is mainly directed about the "suppliers" of files. and not yet about "downloaders".

Relax. It's only a problem if you are observed d/l on the street. In a private location they have to prove you actually d/l something and were not just visiting the site. It is a good idea to use protection and run it through an anti-virus.

Do you really think they will get shut down because he posted it here on perb? All people have to do is Google search it and get those lists for themselves. Besides, Pirate Bay has vowed that no matter how many times they get shut down, they will always find a way to get back up...not sure of the exact number but I believe they own a lot of domain names and are usually back up within 48 to 72 hours after one of those domains gets shut down.

I personally buy my music, just more convenient for me and I don't really buy much anymore...I do however download a lot of tv and the odd movie, just use a VPN and all should be good.

since piratebay was down for a while started using Torrentz ...seems to work better than PB and nice and fast.

I have been downloading my loads into friendly SPs for many years, and no law is ever going to change that....:thumb:

Well, I'm much too discreet to ever do it on the street, and yes, they are going to have a hard time proving that I wasn't just visiting her site. Oh, and I ALWAYS use protection but I'm not sure about running it through an anti-virus - that sounds painful......:eek:.
