Tooth extraction and oral sex

Hello,

I had a wisdom tooth pulled a few days ago (ouch!), it was a small wisdom tooth and I don't have any stitches or residual bleeding but I am guessing I should lay off giving oral sex for awhile? If so for how long should I abstain?

I hope you are feeling better after having your wisdom tooth out.

I think it is a good idea as it would be easier for any virus to get in through the wound were your wisdom tooth used to be.

It is hard to say how long you should wait as people heal at different rates and some people can get complications that delay’s healing e.g. small infection.

I would just suggest that you monitor it like any other wound and once it goes back to normal e.g. looks like other tissue inside your mouth, no pain, no swelling, no bleeding. I think you would be ok to go.
